La Ponceria — Restaurant in Livorno

Beat this if you can. This bar nests on the corner of the via Borra. The bridge opposite is the center point for the young locals to meet. Bring a dog, your drinks, dress smart (or not) over the weekends they are all here, meeting one another after a hot day in town. We walked Livorno at night, while deserted streets sent more and more youth to this bridge and the adjacent bars along the canals. Nothing more Italian than this corner.
