Tekka' Sushi & Poke' Via Garibaldi, Messina Centro — Restaurant in Messina

We had lunch at Tekka yesterday and it was a total surprise! The food was delicious from start to finish. We started with some amazing gyoza filled with succulent shrimp, which set the tone for an epic meal.

For our main course, we went for the classic sushi and the chef's creation sushi. The traditional sushi was fresh and exactly what we were expecting. But the special creations were a nice surprise. Each piece was bursting with fresh flavors, and the fish was so fresh it just melted in our mouths.

One thing we think would be helpful is if they gave us some guidance on the order to eat the sushi. As sushi lovers, we knew to save the freshest pieces, like the ones with mango or avocado, for last to really appreciate the flavors. But for those who aren't familiar with the traditional order, the flavors might clash a bit.

Another thing we noticed is that the menu is pretty huge, especially the wine section. It can be overwhelming when you're trying to decide. It would be cool if they broke it down into smaller sections or gave us some recommendations for pairing dishes and wines. That way, we could navigate the options more easily.

We paired our sushi with two different white wines - one was a bit more full-bodied and the other was super fresh. The combo was perfect and let us enjoy the food even more.

We finished off our meal with a refreshing lemon sorbet, which was the perfect way to wrap up our experience at Tekka. We left feeling happy and already planning our next visit. We'd totally go back to Tekka again.

Overall, we highly recommend Tekka for its amazing food and unique sushi creations. With a bit of guidance on the order to eat the sushi and a more organized menu, the experience would be even more enjoyable...
