To the owner who asked me to get out of the restaurant and cursed me, simply for supporting the Chinese couple sitting next to me for being charged for green chilli, which they felt cheated for as they were never charged for the same by any Indian restaurant - Indians believe in hospitality, they believe in good service, they believe in kindness, they say ‘athiti devo bhav’ which means ‘guest is god’. Please don’t spoil the name of India. Also attaching the picture of what this restaurant serves in the name of ‘banaras tikki’. A quick google search will reveal how far it’s from reality. You’ll not get very far by scamming people, charging for condiments that are provided as accompaniments, on top of cover charge. Also, the rude behaviour you showed today isn’t normal at all. Before you comment about the fact that my legs were folded on the chair, mind you there are injuries and health conditions that you’re not aware of that you should educate yourself about before you think about misbehaving so badly with a female, or any gender for that matter. It doesn’t take much to be a human, hope you can heal from your troubles and trauma and be that. My review is also to warn anyone planning to eat here - this place doesn’t handle criticism of any kind. If you happen to eat here, just eat whatever they serve you and leave. Raising your concerns will get you thrown out of the place. :) Clearly all 5-star reviews are bought or given by fellow friends of the owners. I was misled by the same. When you will read one star reviews you will get to know how much of a bad reputation the owner has for his rude behaviour. I’ve dined in over 50 Indian restaurants in Europe during my 6 months of stay there. And this was undoubtedly the worst experience ever, and as a female I was so taken aback by the rude aggressive behaviour of the owner that I wish I could report him to the police. But the only thing I can do for now, is leave this one star review and hope that others read it and are spared of this truly scarring and troubling experience.

**5-Star Review for Banaras, Milan** I recently dined at Banaras in Milan, and it was an extraordinary culinary experience that exceeded all my expectations. As someone who frequently enjoys Indian cuisine in New York and New Jersey, I can confidently say that Banaras stands out as one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever visited. The moment I stepped in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the perfect mood for a memorable meal. The menu was extensive, offering a wide variety of traditional dishes that were prepared with authentic spices and flavors. Here's a rundown of what I ordered: - **Paneer Tikka**: Absolutely delicious, with just the right amount of smokiness and spice. - **Chilli Chicken**: Perfectly cooked with a fantastic balance of heat and flavor. - **paneer Kofta**: Rich and creamy, the koftas and perfectly spiced with the best palak base - **Garlic Naan**: Soft, fresh, and ideal for scooping up the delicious curries. - **Lassi Mango**: A refreshing and sweet end to the meal. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff making sure I had everything I needed. The attention to detail and commitment to quality were evident in every bite. Overall, Banaras is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian food in Milan. It truly gives the Indian restaurants in the USA a run for their money. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and experience this culinary gem. I can't recommend it enough!

Banaras paints a new style of Indian restaurant in Milano, located close to the centre just inside porta Romana area is a nice find. As an Indian for me I am quite critical on Indian cuisine and I can give a 3 stars for the food, however a definite 4 star for the ambience. The service was also quite good although you feel a bit pushed on time and reservations considering the limited seating and the size of the restaurant. They taste is more suited for Europeans with the spice levels but may be for Indian it may be bland. I did not instruct the spice levels to try their usual levels. Overall the presentation and the quantity quite good. The prices are like an Italian restaurant in that area slightly over considering other Indian restaurants. I Will definitely recommend to try as Banaras will be in the top Indian restaurants in Milan.
