big minus for the service. we ordered a red wine and they came with a different bottle from what we ordered, that was priced much lower and tasted worse. we told them they got the wrong bottle and instead of apologising, the server argued and argued and said ”I don’t try to trick tourists”, he got very defensive when all we did was ask for the correct bottle. just very unprofessional and put a bad mood on the dinner, even if we ended up getting the correct bottle by the end, and were given a complementary Sardinian digestif. all I wanted was an apology! as for the food, it wasn’t bad at all, and had a lot of options. everything tasted fresh and proper. but to be honest it also did not blow my mind. the best part was the quality of the pasta which is most likely made in house. but the flavours were average, might even benefit from a little salt. lastly, the tiramisu was delicious! probably the best I tried on this Milano trip.

Me and my friend visited Milan for our vacation and wanted to try some authentic Milanese cuisine so we decided to try Casa Curci based on the Google reviews. I had the ossobuco with risotto and my friend had the pasta with tuna ragu along with some house wine.To our disappointment, the pasta was very salty, the quality of the meat wasn’t good (which later caused stomach malfunctions and it’s the main reason that led to this review) and the wine was definitely watered down since it tasted completely like water and had a huge color difference compared to the exactly same wine a table next to us had ordered. When we tried to inform our waiter about it, there was a communication gap due to the language. The risotto was good and the atmosphere was nice.

The best authentic pizza in Milano (and the best I’ve ever had in Italy or abroad!) 🍕A cosy neighbourhood family restaurant, with incredible quality ingredients, attentive service, and a variety of delicious local dishes. A hidden gem close to the center of Milan, away from the crowds - we were so glad we found it, we ended up repeating this restaurant in the space of only two days in the city (there was no point looking for another pizza restaurant!) Don’t miss out on the fantastic homemade desserts. We can’t wait to eat here again on our next trip to this fabulous city! 🇮🇹
