Lacerba — Restaurant in Milan

Great drinks and vibe but really rude waitress let down what should have been a great experience. We turned up at 5 only to be told not open til 6 that’s totally fine we went to a bar next door and had drink while awaiting this opening. At 6.30 we returned asked for table for 3 we’re told we could sit on couch at back til 8.30 as they had booking we were fine with that so sat down. First waiter was super nice explained drinks to us and made some recommendation and we ordered. We’re enjoying our drinks when at about 7 we were told by a female waitress that we needed to move as there were others needing table. Place was half full and there were plenty of vacant seats. We said that’s ok can we order another drink at least she said yes you have 20 mins. We had another round but while we were sitting the waitress and a couple of other bartenders kept looking over at us making us feel quite uncomfortable. Still there were vacant seats and we wanted to stay and enjoy so asked the waitress would you like us to move somewhere else so we can stay to which she replied we only have the bar available. This seemed strange as there were still a number of free areas throughout the bar. Decided we would leave as we felt unwanted so went to pay not wanting to say anything until the gent behind the bar asked how everything was? I answered that I was a bit upset we were told to move from our area, he looked on the computer and explained that the area was free til 10.30. I said we were told to move and he seemed a little confused. I explained to him that the bar was great and drinks also and we really wanted to stay and have more but we’re made to feel very unwelcome by the waitress who told us to move. He said we could definitely stay but at this stage we really didn’t want to, waitress came over also at this time claiming she didn’t understand us etc but it was clear earlier that she did. Unfortunately what should have been a really cool experience was soured by a pretty rude waitress assuming we were just takin go up space. This was our last night of a month long euro trip so we were looking to celebrate a bit enjoy ourselves and have a bunch of drinks but was soured by this...

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. you can definitely find better bars with better prices around the place and at least no one will ask to leave and drink outside after 2min from order!

Table reservation last longs for 2hours as they said and after they will ask you to leave the tables and drink outside! WHAT AN ABSURD? Me and my friend went around 8pm to have a drink, other two friends joined us around 10pm and after 2 min they got drinks staff asked us to leave the tables because another reservation was on the same table. we left around 70.00€ within 2 hours, so you can't really say that we were sitting there for a glass of drink and not ordering if that was your problem?!

P.S Music is too loud that you can...

The drinks in this place are REEEALLY nice! Usually it's very crowded and the waiting time for a table could be long. People usually make a reservation, so this is a good idea to consider before your visit. The service is also really good, the people in there is very attentive and consider your food preferences or allergies. The first thing they asked was this, about the food. We asked for vegetarian, lactose free and normal meal and they brought the aperitivo food according to our preferences. This is thoughtful, not all places do something like this. The guys behind the bar are very funny and talkative. We sat at the bar an were able to ask for drink recommendations and prepared it delightfully in front of us....
