Nestled in the heart of Milan, this charming establishment exudes an air of sophistication, boasting a well-trained staff who excel in delivering impeccable service. The libations provided were certainly a highlight, showcasing a delightful array of flavors that left a favorable impression. However, when it comes to the culinary offerings, regrettably, the experience took a disappointing turn.

Embarking on our gastronomic journey, we indulged in a selection of dishes, beginning with the Octopus. Alas, it fell short of expectations, plagued by an unfortunate presence of sand, rendering it less than desirable. Its texture, sadly, had succumbed to a state of sogginess, an unwelcome sensation to the discerning palate.

Moving on to the Gnocchi accompanied by prawn tartare, one had hoped for an explosion of flavors. Alas, this aspiration was not realized, as the dish lacked the vital touch of seasoning, resulting in a bland encounter. A disheartening resemblance to wet cardboard left us yearning for more depth and complexity.

As our culinary expedition drew to a close, the Lamb appeared on our plates. Though it managed to achieve a level of acceptability, it could not rise above the realm of mediocrity. Amongst the numerous lamb chops I have encountered throughout my gastronomic adventures, this particular rendition failed to distinguish itself, failing to capture the essence of excellence.

In a commendable gesture, the staff swiftly rectified the situation by removing the Gnocchi from our bill. While this act of goodwill was appreciated, it could not salvage the overall experience. Regrettably, our evening in Milan was marred by one of the most lackluster dining encounters I have ever encountered.

If I may be so bold as to offer a suggestion, perhaps it is best to confine one's visit to this establishment to partaking in its superb beverage selection. Immerse yourself in the ambiance and enjoy the attentive service, while leaving the gustatory aspirations to other culinary havens that grace the magnificent...

I don't know how it is possible to have bad food experience in Italy, but that was it.

Will start from good thing: the stuff is very attentive and welcoming, the cocktails and wine are amazing. Unfortunately, it's not a bar, but a restaurant, so I will talk about the main dishes we had:

The most tasteless fish and potato puree I had. No spices or salsa, nothing. Just plain fish and puree that consists of potato starch, but not potates, wouldn't recommend it. The only food I can recommend is bread. The bread they serving is out of this world, very tasty.

The dessert was decent, I think mousse is...

The food was really good, much better than other places around, I got the recommendation from the hotel I stayed in and was so happy for that. The prices are bit high but it totally worth it. I would love to come back again and would totally recommend. The atmosphere in this place is really luxury. And this is located in the most center close to the duomo. After the dinner I went up to the rooftop there you can drink a good cocktail in front of the amazing view of the Duomo. I really loved everything...

We stayed at the Palazzo Touring Club and had breakfast and lunch here several times. If you book through either AMEX or Chase portals, breakfast is included. Get the Tiramisu pancakes for breakfast. We loved them, so unbelievably fluffy, we had them every day. Must try! Lunch was a reduced menu for the holiday. The pastas were delicious. While I know it’s probably very American of me to order a burger in Italy, I did, and it was great.
