Bar Ruffini Caffè — Restaurant in Milan

THEY ARE RUDE. PLEASE DONT GO HERE. We were heading to santamaria grazie and it was pouring so much we could not walk to there so we stopped by this bar and order some coffee and toast. First of all, the toast was wrapped with tissue and that sticks with the cheese why do you need to wrap this cheese toast with tissue? Second of all, our clothes and shoes were soaked in the rain, so we put the jacket on the next chair to dry for a while. Because the place was totally empty (no wonder why) and then they said don’t do that (I have no complain about this) all of a sudden THEY STARTED TO LAUGHING AT US. Even though I can’t speak Italian, it was very clear that they were mocking us. We just left this place with bad feelings and were so upset. We were trying to be nice and kind until the end, but they didn’t greet us, say grazier or ciao either until we left. You just...

Sono entrata in questo bar per bere un caffè e trascorrere una mezz’oretta prima di un impegno. Entro, vedo un tavolino in ingresso, appoggio la borsa del pc e MI PULISCO DA SOLA LA SEDIA LERCIA DI BRICIOLE. Poi, per non disturbare, vado al banco per ordinare un caffè. Il signore dietro al banco me lo prepara, una ragazza da capelli rossi, anch’essa dietro al banco, beve il suo caffè fissandomi. Ricevo il caffè e le chiedo il prezzo. Mi fissa. Penso che sia straniera, forse non ha capito. Glielo richiedo. È italiana e mi dice 1.30€. Pago (con la carta, forse è un dettaglio importante), prendo il mio caffè e faccio per andare a sedermi al tavolino, quando il signore mi dice che al tavolo costa 1.50€. Gli rispondo che di solito la maggiorazione c’è se te lo portano al tavolo, mi dice che costa la pulizia del tavolino (solo che io avevo fatto pure quella visto che il tavolo era lercio). Allora gli chiedo “Ma scusi, aveva visto che avevo appoggiato il pc per sedermi al tavolo, perché non mi ha detto di accomodarmi che mi veniva a servire?”. Mi ha fatto spallucce. Me ne sono andata. Non ho mai fatto una recensione negativa in vita mia, ma questo posto mi ha fatto così schifo che ho deciso di unirmi ai tanti meritati commenti negativi. Sarebbe anche interessante capire qual è il vero costo di questo caffè, visti i tanti pareri. Speriamo che la gestione cambi...

Perfect for a quick pit stop if you have been walking around all day. Conveniently next to Santa Maria delle Grazie, but the prices were as expected for the city. I paid nothing extra to go use the bathroom, and we had only gotten two Cokes to begin with. Both people working there were polite to us. I'm not sure where the negative reviews are...
