Bloomy dimsum house — Restaurant in Milan

Reminiscent of a HK/Taiwan take out store , this place not only has the vibe but also tastes like you would expect of a reputable one in HK/Taiwan. so don't expect table service or any atmosphere at a place tailored for take out.

Most of their clientele actually are from take out and there is a steady stream of clients bringing food back to their offices nearby, so don't let the lack of people eating in fool you, they are actually very busy. part of the reason is that the place is small which is the only drawback.

Must try: lemon tea. Made with real limes and lemons. Not too sweet and very refreshing.

We had the "sheng Jian bao" , shrimp dumplings, meat dumplings (shao mai) , beef noodles, spring rolls and some veggies. That was a Lot For two people and came in at just under 50 euro.

Highly recommended. One of the best shrimp dumplings and shao mai I've had in Europe. The sheng Jian bao was also very tasty. Spring rolls are also affordable and worth a snack.

Noodles are quite a portion and can be a meal on its own. Very nice springy texture but is overshadowed by the other much much tastier dim sum.

The owner is trilingual at least (Italian, Chinese and English) and has some pictures of him and jay chou on the wall. He really cares about the food and checked in on whether we liked it when we ate there.

What a fantastic find after visiting the stunning Duomo di Milano! This place isn’t just about great food—it’s about the warmest hospitality. The owner/boss went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. He was so kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our meal special.

From accommodating our needs to making us feel like valued guests, his dedication to customer service is next level. The food was delicious (definitely try their [mention a dish if you can!]), but it was his kindness that truly made our visit memorable.

We wanted dim sum on our last night in Italy but regret this decision. I don’t know how they have a 4.7 star rating considering the food was inedible and we had to leave the restaurant. They leave meat and everything out on the counter (not refrigerated) then reheat it in a microwave. We got the noodles and watched them microwave the beef and it was still not hot when it was served. The dim sum on the other hand was mush. We then saw one of the cooks lay out the raw chicken on the counter. They said a refund was not possible. I would not recommend...
