I would like to point out that it didn't seem like a busy night as there was plenty of empty tables.

We waited 5 mins at the front of the restaurant to be seated. The hostess was very friendly and showed us to our seats After 10mins, the waitress came and ask us for our order however I informed her that we needed more time as we were struggling with the menu being in Italian. I know this is not their fault and I don't expect everyone to speak English. After another 15mins, using Google lens and working what we wanted to order. No one came again to take our order. The two gentlemen next to us must have fail sorry for us because they got the attention of a waiter and requested for our order to be taken. The waitress returned and as I was telling her my order. She offered me a QR code which had the menu in English. As she took the other menus, I was getting ready to tell her my order but before I had the chance to scan the QR code and tell her what we wanted. She had left again. After she hadn't return for 10mins, I got the attention of the hostess and ask her whether she could get someone to take our order. A waiter was making his way, when the waitress finally came back to take our orders.

We waited an unnecessary amount of time before our starter arrived and the same thing for our main. We requested medium for the burger and got medium/rare. Once, we finished the food, I then requested the bill. The man said 'okay'. I was under the impression that okay meant he would go get the bill and come back. After 10mins of the waiter going past our table multiple times without producing the bill. I remembered that people usually went to the till to settle their bill. Clearly cultural ignorance from my part but I would have remembered quicker if the waiter didn't say okay. I went to the till and stood there for 5mins without the bartender uttering one word to me. I observe her dispensing drinks and washing glasses but she never approached us once she completed her tasks. I then thought I might be at the wrong till since there was another till at the entrance so I proceeded to start going downstairs. However before I manage to even make it to the stair, the bartender said something in Italian which made me turn around. I said excuse me and she said I need to pay the bill. I guess she was now ready to take our payment and acknowledge our existence.

I was completely disappointed with the standard of the service and the...

not a good experience, i'm sorry. the food was (for the most part) ok, but there were serious communication issues. i get that the wait might be longer if the restaurant is full, but conversing with your colleagues while standing at a table and taking orders is at the very least a bit weird. also, not fully grilling the burger patties without communicating (may it be on the menu or by the waiter) is a big no in my eyes. while it is entirely personal that i just don't like meat that hasn't been cooked to the level of well done, it is not ok at all to just assume anyone likes their burgers rare without ever asking (and no, not speaking english too well is not an excuse in my opinion). i did not eat half of my burger. the fries were fine, so was the nice gesture of salted popcorn- but that does not fix the bad communication at all. i would probably not come back, however, if you like your burgers undercooked and speak great italian, you might just go for it. just wasn't for me overall.

update: i just found out rare burgers pose a health risk. not communicating that the burger you serve is not well done is absolutely unacceptable. would change the rating to 1 star but google...

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude and commendation for the exceptional service provided by Vita during my visit to your restaurant (October 13, 2023).

Throughout the entire dining experience, Vita displayed a remarkable level of attentiveness and professionalism. She was attentive to our needs and promptly addressing any requests or questions we had. Her knowledge of the menu was truly impressive, as she provided insightful recommendations and descriptions of the various dishes. Not only did Vita deliver outstanding service, but she did so with a genuine smile on her face, creating a pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere for our meal. Her positive energy and enthusiasm were contagious, making us feel valued as customers and enhancing our overall dining experience.

Overall, her exceptional customer service skills, combined with her warm and friendly personality, made dining at your restaurant a memorable experience.

Thank you, Vita, for going above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of...

All in all it was an okay experience but the staff was not great and can improve their “social” skills, the “pizza” was not a pizza at all, more like a pinsa/focaccia, but the worst thing was that we ordered a beer tour and we were told that we needed to wait because they didn’t have enough glasses — we were flabbergasted, also because they waited the beer glasses to be available also to serve us water…we started to eat without anything to drink, tried to ask a waiter, was ignored with a generic “Coming soon”, never came back I think it’s better to go for trying the meat or just drink in a less busy day, maybe lunch during the week We were in two, Saturday evening and 2 entrees, 2 pinsas, 1 bottle of water and a beer tour (4 mini glasses) came at ~50€

I ordered a portion of fries. They came extremely cold and tasted as if they were leftovers from other customers or had been sitting around for two days. Completely stale and inedible. I couldn’t eat them at all. Really bad food. Even though other dishes looked fine, what I got was just awful. Another problem: on Google Maps it says this place is open until 12, but at 11 they told us to leave because they were closing. If you close earlier, either update the information on Google Maps or actually stay open until the posted time. Very poorly managed place, definitely not recommended.

Loved the food and chilled atmosphere! The octopus with potato's main dish a definite must try! The octopus is grilled perfectly and then pan fried for that extra crunch texture.I am not a fan of potatoes but these toast potatoes are amazing and bursting with flavours! We loved the burrito nduja pizza and the polenta crisps. I am not a beer person but my husband is and he loved their selection of beers! We liked going there so much that we went twice in two days! Would definitely recommend!
