Caruso Nuovo Bistrot — Restaurant in Milan

I am a little torn about this place. I think it had exceptional service and the ambience was excellent.

Food wise, I started with a vegetable starter, which honestly are some of the best tasting vegetables I have ever had.

But my Milanese bone-in Veal Cutlet, which is supposed to be their specialty, was very dry. The quality of meat was good and the size was incredible. But I find both the chop and the potatoes on it were very over done. Then again, maybe that is just how it is supposed to be cooked, I don't have more references.

Caruso would’ve been pleased! We just finished a great trip at the Grand Hotel de Milan enjoying both breakfast and afternoon aperitifs at the Caruso Nuovo Restaurant. We could not have been more pleased. The Restaurant ambiance is excellent whether you prefer dining inside, or on the enclosed outside patio. It’s all brand new, elegantly crisp and inviting.
