Fraud! Following the post about a charged of 100 euro without any reason, I would like to response and show the facts that owner agreed in her response, but didn't explain why he charged 100 euro from tourists even they have been in restaurant: Why the waiter didn't told to visitors that if they will leave they will charged for 100 euro? In the reservation there are no any requirements for minimum spend. So, if the couple so bad as per owner, why they didn't stay and just took a coffee. Because they were absolutely clear with their intentions. When the owner just wanted to take from them 100 euro by using the situation. Why the owner charged the card of couple after first coming just 4 minutes from they left? Why the owner didn't agree to refund the charge when the couple come again to ask about it? They are visited the restraint twice and form their side they could sit down to a small dish and go. Regarding to reaction of couple as described by owner is absolutely understandable, because each one who will meet the same situation and gall of the owner, were response the same.
As per mentioned above just think twice when you are coming to the restaurant and making reservation before. The owner will use your credit card as per his wish and will looking for any reason to take your money. Just think, how many talks here for 100 euro. Any other successful and decent restaurant owner will continues with it for this amount? I'm sure , instead, decent owner will refund it and close the issue. Read moreFoods are not bad, but the price is expensive and credit card information is required when yoh make a reservation, it means that they will request the cancellation fee(100euro) if you cannot visit by using that card, but this kinds of information is not written anywhere.
When I call to cancel my reservation, the staff of shop repeatly told to me that deposit is not refundable, but also he had never informed to me that it is 100euro, but I become to know this by reading many bad reviews written for this restaurant. Inside was absolutely empty, and the staff is watching me every second to take out the dish and to suggest more food and desert.
Please think one more time before you make a reservation, why this restaurant is empty and why they are desperately trying to request 100euro deposit without any well-noticed information but by hidden way :)
If this place is a real popular and where everybody want to go, probably the they don't need to oblige customers to make a reservation with high deposit, dont't need to make the customers to visit this restaurant forcibly to keep the deposit, I felt a little bit sympathy to this restaurant among all the fantastic restaurants in Italy.
addition : I had never said deposit is expensive, but I had commented that "the way to inform the deposit is cheating (probably the restaurant is not confident) but there is no reply about this part.. Dear Management,
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the experience my party and I had at your restaurant on 04.08.2024. As a party of 11, including children, we chose your restaurant for what we hoped would be an enjoyable dining experience. Unfortunately, our visit was far from satisfactory.
Despite the restaurant being empty during peek lunch time, the staff's attitude towards us was shockingly rude and disrespectful. One would think that an empty restaurant would welcome a large party, but the staff's demeanor suggested otherwise. We were made to feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers.
Additionally, the lack of child-friendliness was particularly disheartening. Our children were met with impatient and unfriendly responses from the staff, which significantly detracted from our experience. It is clear that your restaurant is not accommodating to families with children, which is a major drawback for any restaurant aiming to provide a pleasant dining atmosphere.
Given this negative experience, I will NOT be recommending your restaurant to others, nor do I have any desire to return in the future. I hope you take this feedback seriously and work towards improving the attitude and customer service of your staff, as no guest should have to endure such treatment.
