Last night, I had one of those utterly unexpected, completely delightful dining experiences that you just know will become one of your core memories. We arrived at the restaurant and were immediately welcomed by the owner, who I can only describe as a full-blown character - part host, part entertainer. Within seconds, we were laughing, shaking hands, and somehow already on a first-name basis. You could tell this place wasn’t just a business, it was a passion project - and we were stepping right into the heart of it. We opted for the set menu (because why not hand the reins over completely when you’re in good hands?) and… wow. Every dish that arrived felt like it came with a story. The flavours were balanced, fresh, and honestly joyful - you could tell they were made with love and a bit of flair. 10/10 across the board. No notes. Now, here’s where things took a turn from “lovely dinner” to “what even is happening but I love it.” Somehow - and I genuinely couldn’t tell you how - we ended up singing karaoke with a group of complete strangers. One minute we were sipping wine, the next we were standing up belting out Britney Spears like it was 2002. There was no shame. No hesitation. Just full-throttle joy and a room full of people who had also clearly said, “you know what? Let’s just go with it.” It wasn’t just a meal. It was a once-in-a-lifetime night that started with food and ended with communal chaos in the best way imaginable. If you’re in the mood for great food, genuine hospitality, and a night you’ll be talking about for years, then this place is an absolute must. 10/10. Would dine, dance, and scream-sing again.

I admit reading about this place in the web. Someone posted that she had a great meal here and I wanted to confirm or disprove it. Gladly... The food is great..!! As soon as I sat down, a basket of bread was served. (I didn't get a chance to eat it) Chef Jose, whom I think is the owner was really quick in attending to me. I didn't really get a chance to read the menu either. (Yes, I did feel a bit rushed but not pushed) He recommended the Bucatino Al Grecia.. A bucatino with sort of carbonara... But with pecorino cheese and guanciale (pork cheek) Instead of Parmesan and bacon. I was not disappointed. Mid way through the meal... He saw that I slowed down and brought out some cooking water (salted water) and diluted the pasta sauce and it was even better than how it began!? Incredible. To end with a sweet note, I actually wanted the Tiramisu buuuutttt they had just made it and it needed a lot of time to set proper. I had something similar to a creme brulee.. let's call it crema Catalan. Nice layer of caramel to crack through and the custard waiting below also did not disappoint. The meal was served with a glass of wine and choice of either sparkling or still water How much was my meal? €15.. Thanks Jose! You'll be seeing me again really soon.

As a tourist visiting a foreign culture this is exactly what I’m looking for. The chef and waiters greeted us promptly and basically took the reigns from there, never showing an actual menu. And why would I want them to? I don’t know what the chef and staff are specialized in and/or what type of ingredients are in season, but they do, and boy do they know their craft well. Truly one of a kind dinner experience, lovely setting, incredible wine (pictured), and flavors I had never tasted before. Don’t worry about how long you’ll spend there, what the tab will amount to, or your previous dinner experiences. Let the chef cook, the waiters pour wine, and enjoy the moment.

The chef/potential owner of the restaurant is incredibly aggressive and rude. I was with a group of women for a birthday and he cursed at us multiple times through the dinner and yelled to get out of his restaurant. He was angry that two out of the ten people ordered off of the menu rather than choosing his suggested dishes. He said that we are treating his restaurant like a pub and that we need to leave because we’re “not from here and don’t understand how things work”. We had ordered first, second, and third courses as well as multiple bottles of wine, however the owner treated us terribly. If the owner does not want to cook something off of his menu then he should remove that item or say it is unavailable. He was incredibly inconsiderate and unprofessional. I would never eat at this restaurant again and would not suggest it to anyone. I felt very uneasy that a man would verbally assault a table of women. The man is very unstable and his employees were observed rolling their eyes at his behaviour. The employees appeared embarrassed with his outburst and that his inappropriate actions must occur on a routine basis. Whether someone cooks decent food or not, no one wants to pay for an experience like that. I have observed similar reviews and find it interesting that the restaurant will also respond in an extremely confrontational way to any cretiques that are made. My suggestion is...

Scherzi a parte;

No. Il cibo sarebbe migliore?
