Dear Owner,

This review is addressed directly to you, as I believe every person who visits your restaurant should be aware of the kind of individual they are supporting.

Our experience at your establishment this evening was deeply disappointing, not because of the food or drinks—both of which were excellent—but because of your own attitude and conduct.

We arrived as a group of friends, intending to enjoy a pleasant evening over aperitifs. Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side—it was cold and raining, and we were seated outside near a heater that was set to its lowest setting. After attempting multiple times to bring this to the attention of the waitstaff, only to be completely ignored, I took the initiative to adjust the heater myself in order to make our experience more comfortable.

To our misfortune, you, the owner, were present that evening, serving customers. It quickly became apparent that your ego could not tolerate the fact that I had taken it upon myself to adjust the heater. You approached and promptly turned it off, instructing a waiter to inform us that the gas had run out—a statement that was, quite clearly, an excuse.

I decided to confront you and engage in a civil conversation, hoping to reach an understanding. However, instead of responding with professionalism or even basic courtesy, you chose to raise your voice in front of a full restaurant, telling me in no uncertain terms that the heater would not be turned back on because, in your words, “this is not your home.” When I pointed out that I was a paying customer and that it would be reasonable to accommodate such a simple request, your arrogant response was, “Who do you think you are?”—delivered in a condescending and dismissive tone.

It is truly unfortunate that the outstanding quality of your drinks and appetizers is overshadowed by your own arrogance, rudeness, and complete lack of respect for your patrons. A good restaurant is not only defined by its food and ambiance but also by the attitude of its owner—something you seem to have entirely overlooked.

I sincerely hope that, instead of taking offense, you will reflect on this feedback like a true professional, and consider treating your customers with the respect they...

I´m just giving a bad review as a follow up to the asinine response to my boyfriend´s review. We are busy people and wasted 20 minutes of our busy lives sitting there not getting service while the man that we presume is the owner or maybe manager was just standing at the bar chatting while we got no service. He only came over to see us to tell us to not move the chairs when we moved one chair to sit closer to talk better. So my boyfriend wrote a review and someone wrote back with the worst customer-service skills that I've seen in my entire life. So I'm posting this review because I also suffered from those moments of my life wasted as the lazy employee (manager? owner?) only came over to us, not to take our order, but to tell us not to move the chair. And then to reply to the review that we were not in our house so we had no right to move a chair. Well, we weren't in our house, but neither was he. He was running a business that is for serving customers. It has no other purpose than to serve customers. Every time we get a response that is not a sincere apology for wasting our time and insulting us by ignoring us until the moment of treating us like children and telling us to move the chair back (and then still ignoring us as we wanted to order), we will continue to response with one-star reviews. Milan is a nice city (except the city grime and creepy people), but has crappy food and poor customer service. This is your chance to be better...

Amazing place for an aperitif! The cocktails are very tasty and they bring you a fairly large plater of snacks to go with the alcohol. We tried the Sex on the Beach and Daikiri, but the Cosmopolitan and Aperol are also nice! Before five o'clock a cocktail is €5 and after it's around €10 (depending on the drink). I think the price is very reasonable. Keep in mind that after five o'clock the plater of food is a bit bigger and there is a bit more variety to the food (the one in the picture is after five). Either way, the place is a gem and it's one of my personal favourites. I haven't tried any of the dishes yet (they have a few types of pasta and others) or the coffee but I definitely will in the future. I recommend the place a 100%!

We tried both aperitivos of this place before and after 5pm. First of all, when comparing the performance and price, this place is definitely one step ahead. Both aperitivos were rich enough. Especially the one after 5pm is big enough that you won't feel the need to have dinner afterwards. The cocktail menu is also very wide, there is something for every taste. I tried sex on the beach and tequila sunrise. I found both of them successful. In addition to the outdoor area, there is also a 2-story indoor area. If you go early, there is no problem finding a seat, but after 7pm the place starts to fill up. Although it is a bit cramped and noisy, it is a suitable place to come for an aperitivo with friends.

Amazing spot for aperitivo!!! Just order 1 drink and this whole platter comes with it for FREE!! We came after 5pm so our drinks cost €8 and €10. But if you come before 5pm you can get Aperol Spritz and this platter for only €5!!! Crazy. 🤯 The platter came with so much and was so delicious, but there was so much that we couldn’t even finish the whole thing😅🙇🏻‍♀️🙏🏼 The bar is situated right in front of the wall, and the tram coming through every few minutes and the lights created such a nice atmosphere and vibe!! I DEFINITELY recommend this place🥹😭🙏🏼 Coming back again before 5pm for sure!! Thank you DeAmicis Uno!! ————————— Total spent: €18 (2 drinks - no table charge😌)
