GnomoGelato — Restaurant in Milan

Passed by for a gelato with colleagues. I liked the flavors i took (ricotta & cheesecake) but some of my colleagues weren’t impressed by the stracciatella flavor.

This was the first time i saw number of calories next to each flavor. I guess there is a reason for that but I personally didn’t like this approach. If you are on a diet, you don’t take gelato in general - cause it’s gonna be heavy anyway. If you aren’t on a diet - your choice might be influenced by the “less caloric gelato”, which maybe wasn’t the one you craved for initially.

I took the ones I wanted and they appeared to be the heaviest ones, so while eating i wasn’t fully enjoying it but thinking “oh god, i just ate xxxx calories in a copetta” - which ruins the moment of eating gelato. Next time I would prefer to go to another store where I will just take a gelato I want without...

Mi sono recata in questa gelateria perché ben recensita, e siccome mi trovavo da quelle zone mi sono lasciata tentare. Il gelato è davvero buono, il luogo pulito e il personale molto gentile (la commessa è stata anche molto paziente perché ero un po' indecisa e mi ha lasciato provare un gusto prima di prenderlo). In generale penso sia una buona gelateria, ma nel complesso c'è qualcosa che non mi convince. Purtroppo non ho digerito il gelato, ho continuato ad avere il rigurgito per ore il che di solito non mi capita mai. L'unica pecca ha proprio a che vedere con qualche ingrediente usato in eccesso che ne rende la digestione difficile, e conseguente acidità che sale e proprio non scende. È un peccato perché il gelato lì per lì è stato buono. Ho provato il gusto del mese (dedicato alla Sardegna) ed era super gustoso, ma di gran lunga superiore il gusto alla gianduia! Buonissimo! In generale quindi buono, da migliorare forse la formula del gelato in sé (che risulta un po' caro visto l'effetto "lo digerirò fra due giorni") e la varietà di gusti (pensavo di trovarne di più). Ho trovato però l'atmosfera davanti la gelateria molto rilassante, con tanti bimbi e famiglie venuti per un gelato...
