My experience at Piccolo Restaurant was truly satisfying. The first thing that caught my attention was its charming atmosphere and beautiful décor. The uniquely designed walls, soft and harmonious lighting, and well-crafted tables and chairs with warm colors all combined to create an exceptional sense of coziness and relaxation. The bar area also had a stylish design, which added to the restaurant’s overall appeal.
The staff’s behavior was completely professional and polite. The waiters served the guests with smiles and a calm demeanor, without any unnecessary noise or irrelevant conversations among the staff. They paid full attention to my needs, which gave me a pleasant feeling of respect and care as a customer.
The menu was simple and clearly laid out, with descriptions that made choosing a dish easy. The variety of dishes was also appropriate. I ordered ravioli, which was outstanding in terms of both taste and quality. Although the portion seemed a bit small (only four pieces of ravioli), it was so delicious that I ended up ordering another dish.
The price-to-quality ratio was reasonable, and considering the high quality of the ingredients and presentation, it was definitely worth it. The environment was perfect for chatting or relaxing; the soft music, good lighting, and overall peaceful ambiance enhanced the feeling of calm.
The highlights of this experience for me were the flawless taste of the food, the quality of the wine, the staff’s professional behavior, and the tranquil atmosphere of the restaurant. Overall, if you’re looking for a place where you can enjoy high-quality food in a beautiful and cozy setting, Piccolo Restaurant is an...
Read moreI will have to say this place is a diamond. I was staying at the Marriott up the street and walked over here because I saw on the menu they had a vitello tonnato (veal with a tuna cream let’s say & capers) ..I arrived to a nice well kept fancy little restaurant. I was alone so the waiter gave me a nice spot in the corner of the front of the restaurant (I got to choose of course he was very polite). I ordered some drinks (water , Prosecco & a coke) and then proceeded to give my order. I asked if the veal was still being served and he said for me they could do it (since it isn’t a dish they do everyday). When the dish came out let me tell you , the veal was cooked perfectly and the tuna spread was perfect. I cleaned the plate! I didn’t want to be difficult again but I was craving a certain risotto (their special was risotto con funghi) , a simple risotto with tomato sauce. The waiter said let me ask the chef , he went to the window asked the chef and he said he could do it! I happened to be sitting in front of the window so I yelled ,”thanks chef!”. He told me he hadn’t made that risotto in years! And I have to say he made it so perfect I didn’t even put a pinch of parmigiano on it. Compliments to the chef ! I was still a bit hungry after so I got as a second course , their meatball appetizer with mash potatoes. The meatballs were so tender and full of flavor. The mash potatoes light and not bland. I have to find the pictures I took because this experience was too amazing! I will definitely be back chef ! Ciao ragazzi...
Read moreWe went to Il Piccolo on our last night in Milan, and enjoyed everything we ate. Service was also top notch. We will be going back on our next trip for sure!
We ordered the meatballs for starter, we asked them to serve it split, which is why it’s just 1 pc. on the photo. Their meatballs was so simple but very good! Make sure to try it! We got their Cotoletta and Ossobucco with Risotto for our mains. Their cotoletta was the best we’ve tried in our 3 days in Milan (we always ordered it). The ossobucco and risotto was good too, but the risotto was just too heavy for me. For dessert, our server recommended their tiramisu, which was a good end to our enjoyable meal.
They also have a number of house wines available, and I just asked our server to pick which one would go best with our food orders, and he picked well.
