Kazan Sushi — Restaurant in Milan

Generally the food was very good. There were only a few people, the place was quiet and clean. The male waiters however were so terrible I decided to leave the place earlier than planned. I’ve ordered quite a few dishes, because I wanted to try flavors I haven’t tried before in Japanese cuisine. They kept staring at me in a judgemental manner and whisper between each other all the time when they didn’t have to serve other people. When I looked at them straight in the face, they behaved like they did something shameful and pretended to run away to the bar or hide behind a pillar. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable, this was incredibly rude. I wasn’t informed that some of things I ordered won’t be served and I’m not sure if they just didn’t care to tell me that it’s not available or wanted me to leave earlier, but it worked and I felt ashamed for being their customer. We were there just last night to celebrate my wife’s birthday.

Not at all impressed.

My complaint was that not all the plates we’ve written on that small piece of paper arrived. What’s the use on having us write all the items we wanted to eat when they won’t serve you everything. I don’t know if they do it on purpose (i highly believe so). My wife (who’s the sushi connoisseur) was so disappointed that she promised to NEVER go back on that place again! Very bad service and bad governance. Maybe they could see that I am not from Milano and treated me and my family in a different and bad way. I requested 9 little plates and they only brought me 5 after one hour and a half. Furthermore, I could see how the same plates were delivered to people that arrived later than me to the restaurant... so I kindly requested to the waitress to give me the plate but she didn't want to do that!!. And finally, I decided to go away after the fifth plate and they wanted me to pay for everything!!! Incredible but true. Please, think twice before going...
