La Piadineria — Restaurant in Milan

The piadina is very good. You can also replace the ingredients. I ordered two BABY size piadina since it was early evening and we were not that hungry. I expected them to be cheaper obviously! With the normal size, they would cost 13.30 (Leggerezza + Montagna). The BABY size (of both) cost 11.80!!! It’s almost half big but the difference in price is less than 2 euros!! I realized this just a minute after I had seen the receipt (because they do not have the price of the small size on their menu) and asked them if it’s possible to have the normal size and they refused saying that they have started making them. It took 15 minutes to be ready (considering that it takes no more than 5 minutes to make them, there was the possibility to change it) so besides the unfair pricing and unwillingness to make an effort to have satisfied customers, it’s a nice place to eat...

I started feeling sick within 30mins of eating my chicken piadina. Flash forward 4 hrs later I threw up, and then eventually had to call an ambulance because I thought I was going to die from the food poisoning this place gave me. Horrible stomach cramps, couldn’t keep water down, so I was severely dehydrated, so much so that it felt like my entire arms and legs had pins and needles.

Prendo una piadina rotolo (quindi pago extra per extra ingredienti e per la differenza di consistenza) con prosciutto crudo, pomodori, stracciatella se non erro e salsa rosa. Inizialmente mi viene consegnata una piadina di tipologia normale (con meno ingredienti quindi) e sbagliando ingredienti due volte. La prima volta faccio notare al commesso che non era un rotolo e che c'era l'insalata, allora cosa fa? La apre, toglie l'insalata parzialmente (se ero allergico?) e mette un po' di pomodori, poi la schiaccia tipo a rettangolo (per farla assomigliare al rotolo) e me la ridà (quindi ho pagato per niente il rotolo, dato che avevo gli ingredienti di una piadina normale e tutta schiacciata strana). Poi noto che manca la salsa cocktail, lo faccio notare, mi dicono che non è vero e poi capiscono che invece c'era sullo scontrino. La aprono di nuovo e ne mettono pochissima, tutte queste operazioni tra l'altro davanti a me perché si vedeva dal vetro che si affaccia sulla cucina. Stufo e dato che ero di fretta, ho lasciato perdere e l'ho mangiata ma non tornerò mai più qui. Ho pagato 14€ per l'ordine sbagliato due volte, più piccolo di quello che ho pagato e dovendo poi mangiare di fretta.
