[Good ramen and average boba tea]
This charming shop offers a wide variety of dishes and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. They offers lots of noodle shape to choose from which is quite interesting I find.
The Ramen - 7/10: The ramen was well-executed, with tender and crispy meat and a flavorful broth. The noodles were cooked to perfection, with a nice chewy texture. However, the dish felt a bit plain overall (only a thin piece of meat for toppings as shown in the picture). I would have liked to add more toppings, such as an egg or some extra vegies, to make it more hearty and filling.
The Boba tea: The boba tea was a bit disappointing. The tea flavor was weak and overpowered by the sweetness, pretty much industrial-like. The boba is in fact a kind of yogurt popping jelly, rather than chewy tapioca pearl. I've had much better boba tea at other places in the city.

( A little piece of history: Ramen is a Japanese adaptation of Chinese wheat noodles. Ramen was first introduced to Japan by Chinese immigrants in the late 19th century. According to the record of the new Yokohama Ramen Museum, ramen originated in China and made its way over to Japan in 1859.)
The best Michelin star restaurant who serves authentic Italian food had a Polish headchef. And the best Restaurant I ever ate Thai food, the headchef was Vietnamese.

The broth was watery and flat, the meat was chewy, and overall the dish was extremely poor. I am used to Lanzhou Ramen that is flavorful with a rich broth and a variety of ingredients. The two dimsum we sampled were ok, but a bit lacking in character. The service was good, and the space was nice and comfortable, with a...
