Mani in Noodles 拉面店 — Restaurant in Milan

I highly recommend this restaurant. For context, I am a business traveller to Italy from Germany and used to live in China. Today me and my partner had cucumber with peanuts as a cold starter followed by chicken and beef dumplings. The cold cucumber salad was just like in China, maybe a bit more fine, had a nice spice. The chicken ravioli were on another level. The beef dumplings did not taste exactly like the ones you’d get in China but had its own refined taste. Very very good if dipped in soja sauce and chili oil. My partner had Chicken Ramen as main dish while I chose the traditional beef noodle soup 牛肉拉面. You can chose between different types of noodles and we both had the very thick noodles. It was outstanding! The beef noodles were fantastic and super authentic and tasted very yummy and healthy. I also had a small desert mochi vanilla, which I loved, too. For drinks we only had tea today - I chose a Oolong tea. Very nice! Staff was very friendly and attentive. Price was very, very good for the quality of this meal. Definitely will come back and can only recommend! The restaurant name “Mani noodles” probably translates into 满意面条 in Chinese = happy noodles. Avevo trovato questo ristorante in zona Centrale, specializzato in noodles (fatti a mano) su Instagram in uno dei tanti profili di posticini carini a Milano che seguo e devo dire che ne siamo stati a dir poco entusiasti. Ho trovato su the fork con lo sconto del 20% e ho prenotato per 4. Appena entrati, fuori si gelava e pioveva, c’era un bel calduccio e si respirava proprio un’aria accogliente e molto elegante, arredato in stile minimal con tante piante come piace a me. Esteticamente per me bellissimo. Ma arriviamo al punto saliente: i piatti. Il menù non è molto vasto, ma per me è già un punto a favore perché quando ci sono troppe cose da scegliere divento matta😅 quindi poche cose ma buone, ed è composto così: ramen in brodo o noodles saltati, scegli il tipo di noodles (grosso, sottile, tagliatelle…) e il condimento, poi ci sono anche i famosi ravioli, involtini primavera, e altri piatti particolari come noodles mojito 😍 Abbiamo preso ogni tipo di raviolo due di carne, uno degustazione (assaggio di tutti) e io quelli di pollo. C’era stata una svista e mi hanno servito quelli di verdure, la ragazza che ci stava servendo era così dispiaciuta dell’accaduto che ha insistito per lasciarci quei ravioli in omaggio e mi ha poi riportato quelli di pollo, ovviamente io ho insistito nel dirgli di preoccuparsi e che non mi facevo problemi per queste cose, ma lei me li ha portati comunque, carinissima🥹 Arrivano i noodles, io ho preso quelli vegani, poi uno seafood (con gamberi), uno carne e un ramen in brodo. Buonissimi, saporiti, condimento perfetto ma soprattutto si vedeva e si sentiva che fossero fatti a mano, forse mai assaggiati di così buoni finora. Infine abbiamo preso il tiramisù al the macha e il mochi gelato al gusto cioccolato. Tiramisù buonissimo e delicato, il mio mochi davvero buono, avevo assaggiato i mochi quelli classici in china town ma non mi erano piaciuti, ho voluto provare con il famoso mochi e ne sono rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa. Prezzo 88€ in 4, quindi circa 20€ a testa, (col 20% applicato, escluse bevande) Alla fine ci hanno offerto anche un liquore (il Takara) alla prugna, buonissimo davvero, e i tipici biscotti della fortuna 🥠 Insomma, una serata tra amici super piacevole, in un posto splendido, con un’attenzione al cliente speciale, piatti di qualità buonissimi e presentati in modo impeccabile e prezzi onestissimi. If I could give them 10 stars I would. This place was very accommodating and was able To get us a reservation on a Saturday night with a couple hours notice. We were so grateful. The food was beyond amazing. We tried the chicken and beef dumplings as well as the beef soup. I can’t recommend them enough. We didn’t have the same experience around this city. Milan in general was a bust and the people here are just jerks. This place saved the day. I would say if you are looking for great food and really nice friendly people to cook it for you, then you found your spot. Hands down it was our best experience the whole trip. Just go.
