Decent dimsum in Milan but fairly average. Expect small portions, I think the menu is designed to be for one person/portion & you can increase depending on # of people in your party.
My husband and I went on a Monday with no reservation right at 12pm noon. It got really busy around 1pm. We ordered 4 dimsum dishes & a noodle dish. I’d recommend the traditional Har Gow & Siu Mai (shrimp dumpings) as they were quite tasty & authentic. The lotus leaf sticky rice was only 1 piece which was also delicious. I was quite disappointed in the daikon turnip cake as it was pretty bland with no fillings so I wouldn’t recommend that. The black bean beef noodles was flavourful but mediocre & smaller than expected.
Service was excellent. It was fairly efficient & our waitress was attentive. We spent about €55 overall including a cover charge for both of us. ** I’ll note that I’ve a HK background and we are from Canada so perhaps our expectations are a bit...
Read moreI was an enthusiastic customer of yours. I traveled half the city to dine at your restaurant after a long day of work. While waiting for my food I asked your head waiter a simple question about a sauce of yours. I received a short seemingly harsh reply. Later the same waiter would openly ridicule my question to others. I was totally shocked. First, it is certainly not unusual to ask about the ingredients in a sauce especially since I have food allergies. Secondly I think it is totally unnecessary and rude to ridicule someone for just being curious about a recipe. I've lived in Asia for many years, so "non capisce un cazzo" is not only formally unacceptable, humanely unnecessary and wrong in the context. Your food is awesome, your ingredients fresh, yet it still doesn't give you the right to ruin...
Read moreTa Hua came highly recommended by our local friends, and it absolutely delivered. We were in the mood for something different from Italian cuisine, and this was the perfect choice.
The menu is extensive, with an incredible selection of dim sum and ravioli-style dumplings—we ordered several types and honestly, I couldn’t even choose a favorite. Each one was delicious and perfectly made. The fried rice was flavorful, the chicken dish was tender and well-seasoned, and everything arrived hot and fresh.
The staff was attentive and efficient, and despite how busy the restaurant was, the food came out quickly. It’s clear this place is popular for a reason, so I highly recommend making a reservation in advance.
