Ristorante Eggs Milano — Restaurant in Milan

The idea is brilliant: a restaurant where all the dishes include eggs among the ingredients. The Milan restaurant recently opened, while the one in Rome opened in 2017 (as stated on the website). We tried the one in Milan, and unfortunately, it disappointed our expectations. We tried "The Egg Game" as an appetizer, which consists of six empty half egg shells filled with various ingredients, presented inside a box. The presentation is very nice, but the flavors are too intense and a bit cloying. We then tried the "classic carbonara," and this was the biggest disappointment. Obviously good, but from a place like this, we expected something more than a normal carbonara, not particularly interesting. Finally, the tiramisu, also quite ordinary. In short, at Eggs you won't eat badly, but it is just another “nice” restaurant in that area of Milan, lacking particular inspiration, so not worth a second visit. The service seemed...

Great Food, But Service Needs Improvement

The food was absolutely delicious—everything from the appetizers to the main course was full of flavor and expertly prepared. It's clear that the kitchen staff takes pride in their dishes.

Unfortunately, the service was quite disappointing. One particular staff member was especially unprofessional. When I tried to ask him some questions about the menu, he seemed to make jokes at my expense rather than providing helpful answers. This kind of attitude left a bad impression and overshadowed the wonderful meal I had.

If the management could address these service issues, I believe it could transform this restaurant into a fantastic dining experience. I hope they take this feedback into account. For now, I would recommend the food, but be prepared for...

Recentemente ho avuto il piacere di cenare presso "Eggs", un ristorante che dedica il suo intero menù alle uova, trasformandole in piatti sorprendenti. L'inizio con un antipasto di uova gourmet mi ha immediatamente fatto comprendere che qui l'uovo è trattato con un rispetto e una maestria culinaria fuori dal comune, elevandolo a protagonista di piatti raffinati e pieni di gusto.

Proseguendo con la carbonara, ho potuto constatare una preparazione eccellente che rispetta la tradizione pur aggiungendovi un tocco personale; il risultato è stata una pietanza di una cremosità e sapidità che raramente ho incontrato altrove, con il tuorlo d'uovo a completare il tutto in maniera magistrale.

Al di là dell'eccellenza culinaria, ciò che ha reso la serata ancor più gradevole è stato il servizio: impeccabile, professionale ed estremamente cortese, capace di rendere l'esperienza non solo un pasto, ma un vero e proprio evento. L'ambiente del ristorante, pulito e curato nei minimi dettagli, riflette l'attenzione e la dedizione che "Eggs" pone in ogni aspetto della propria offerta.

Concludendo, la visita a "Eggs" si è rivelata un'esperienza notevole, che ha saputo coniugare con successo l'alta qualità dei piatti, un servizio al tavolo esemplare e un'atmosfera accogliente e piacevole. Se l'uovo è un ingrediente che apprezzate o siete semplicemente alla ricerca di un luogo dove la buona cucina e l'ospitalità si fondono alla perfezione, "Eggs" rappresenta una destinazione imperdibile.
