Worst Dining Experience Ever!
Me and my whole family recently had the misfortune of visiting this restaurant, and I must say it was the worst dining experience I have ever had.
First and foremost, the service of Pedro (the manager) was abysmal, the bartender and the waitress were very nice. Despite the restaurant being empty, it took an unreasonably long time for the staff to bring our food to the table. We sat there for what felt like an eternity, growing increasingly frustrated and hungry. It is mind-boggling how a restaurant with no customers can still manage to have such slow service. Just around 6 people were dinning.
To make matters worse, even after the agonizing wait, the food itself was a major disappointment. The manager recommended two dishes that turned out to be tasteless and unappetizing. We barely managed to take a few bites before giving up on them altogether. . The 3rd dish was good. It was evident that the kitchen lacked any skill or passion for cooking.
As if the terrible food and service weren't enough, the prices at this establishment were exorbitant for the little amount of food that they serve. We were shocked at the bill we received at the end of the meal. The menu was completely different here at google than in the restaurant.
I have dined at countless restaurants in my life, including around 4-6 with Michelin Stars, and I can confidently say that The Manzoni takes the prize for being the worst of them all. It is truly disheartening to see such a lack of care and effort in a supposedly reputable establishment. Save yourself the time, money, and disappointment - avoid this place...
Read moreHello, I went to this restaurant because it is so elegant and beautiful. I was walking to my hotel from Duomo de Milano and this restaurant is located in the neighborhood. By the first look I was amazed by its interior design, so elegant and modern.
We got the table fast because it was Tuesday and the time was 9:30pm. The menu was not very expensive and we ordered food, and in 20mins we got the food. Well when we tried the food it was not great at all, looking at the restaurant ambience the food was zero for the taste.
We ate and ask for the check and the host gave a us the receipt (which i have attached below with the picture) charging us COPERTO extra 10 Euros. When we ask what is this COPERTO charges, the host explained us that it is for the plates, forks and towels provided for dinner.👏😁 I mean come on man, those things are included in the menu. The are ways you can make money more, by providing better quality food and services. I don’t recommend this place, and if you decide to go please make sure of this COPERTO charges. I have been to a lot of different restaurants in Milan and never have this charges. The host targets tourist customers with this charges at this...
Read moreWorst experience: 1: Signature Mansoni Mule, ordered, but waiter came back that is was sold out. 2: Waiter came with the wrong wine, we explained this to him, and reluctantly took it back, came back with the same bottle and told the other one was sold out. We explained is was not the same grape and ordered another wine. 3: While having our starters suddenly t the main courses sides came, the waiter took them back to the kitchen 2 minutes later the main courses came, we had not finished our starters, the waiter had to take them back to the kitchen. The main courses (the same as was brought in 10 min before) both had some very sour elements, the vegetables for the fish, and the lemon sauce for the Filletto Milanese were not realy nice We asked for the check and the manager, who came with the check, we explained our experience but offered no sincere appology or any complementary, we payed the 300 eur and left. Vey disappointing and incredible with the coordination between waiters, the bar, the winelist and kitchen. If we could give less than 1 star we would for such an disappointing Saturday evening, even in a half...
