About the most rude tobacconist I have ever encountered. He Talked to me like I'm an idiot. When I asked for a habanos he said he only sold them by the box. When I asked to see the boxes all of them had been opened. I said you cannot resell an opened box, so how can there be open if you only sell them by the box? He said those aren't for sale. After telling me the box was 250 euros ...what a joke. Tried to push basic AF and then toscani cigars on me. I told him I smoke cigars and I have smoked all those. He showed me some garbage and I j told him that's garbage. Then he said I didn't know what I was talking about and I showed him my own cigar website and multiple pictures of me smoking cigars. He looked surprised and I just left. What a joke.
Then when the owner responded to this review, he stated that he opens the box to show the color of the wrappers of the puros. Not using those terms. But let's be clear. As a cigar smoker and cigar brand owner, I would never buy a pre opened box of $2500 euros, when I may want to age or store them to let them rest. As would all the gentleman I know. I also went to La casa de habanos an hour later and saw open boxes used to sell singles and closed boxes to sell by the box. Which is ALWAYS standard practice with all cigar sales. Not just habanos but new world cigars as well.
Don't spend thousands of euros on a pro opened box, it decreased the value of the box, especially if they have been handled, and if you want to age them or...
Read moreSo incredibly disappointed. I requested nice, mild cigars for my husband and was recommended a particular brand. They were so old and dried out they literally broke apart when he smoked them. They did not smoke evenly, and were anything but mild. Of course we were charged double their worth, as well, but I would have paid anything for quality cigars that my husband would love, because they are hard to find where we live. Really sad. We have a Romeo & Juliet also, I just hope that he enjoys that one. I hate leaving a bad review, but I think buyers should beware that they may very well receive a really old, dried out...

Make sure you completely take it out of the wrapper and inspect it BEFORE you leave the store
Wraps are fragile and flake off. Not even sure if the cigars that they have are genuine or if their humidor is terrible. I don’t mind paying triple the price for the same cigar that I smoke in the US, but make it genuine and store it properly.
2 out of 2 cigars had severe issues with their wraps. Never coming back, I’ll wait until I...
