I found this place to be pretty much just another european reasturant. I am dissappinted to say that the service was poor hence 3 stars; greeting at the door was not at all a warm welcome, there was no immediate seating etiquettes performed ie menu, drinks ask etc. I didn't received the menu until about over 7 minutes in after seated. The plates and cutlery were not placed or readied at the table with simple service etiquette and no check ins to ensure all is well or if you needed another drink. You have to basically stop the servers in their tracks to order. (Also sidenote, here you also have get up to pay at the bar as is normal in Italy) The food would have been 5 stars if the starter tempura fried pawns were deshelled before coated in batter, really you should be able to eat without having to lose the crispy batter wrapped around the shrimp so that was a miss. Main course was absolutely delightful, a mix of seafood, however no condientments were placed at the table and no choice for sauce. For some reason halfway through my dinner they addded an extra table to my table during, which disturbed my dinner but not a big thing I guess. The atmosphere seemed nice and romantic but nothing special sadly. Not sure why it has such high reviews, but all in all a nice average place to...
Read moreWe ate dinner here on our last night in Italy. After a twelve day tour, we were tired and wanted a pleasant place for one last delicious meal. We found it here. Alessandro and Alexandra were warm and welcoming to four American tourists, and they were patient and informative when we ordered. The Pinot Grigio was a generous pour and chilled to perfection. We split a delicious and fresh Caesar salad and a buffalo mozzarella pizza. The tomato sauce on the pizza tasted like the tomatoes had just been picked, and the crust was light and crisp. We finished with a light and creamy tiramisu. Overall, one of the best restaurant experiences I...
Read moreMy grandma ordered a american coffee and they brought her espresso. It wasn't what she wanted so she sent it back and they brought us the closest thing, an Americano (which she enjoyed).
My sister ordered the lobster pasta and it was terrible. It was very fishy. Lobster is a white meat and shouldn't taste that way.
They overcharged us for an additional water and they charged for the espresso we didn't order too. We also asked for a sweet wine and the wine they gave us wasn't sweet at all.
The only thing that was good was the cheese stuffed tortellini. Overall a...
