Nayman Cafe — Restaurant in Naples

We decided to try this cafe out as we were looking for a quick bite. When we walked in, the waitress stated there was no menu and that she can verbally let us know what they have at the cafe. We still decided to look online and order based on what was available. The waitress returned with one incorrect item and stated they did not have the item we asked for, we still got the rest of what we wanted. My partner and I then calculated roughly how much all the items would be using their online menu in case they would try to charge us incorrectly (which they did). When we received the bill, it was double the price than what we calculated. Not only were we lied to that there was no menu, they attempted to charge us more for an incorrect item that should have been less, and charge more for the pastry because it was gluten free (even though the online menu stated the price). They assumed we would not question the price because we weren’t given a menu but we were firm and showed them their online menu with the correct calculations. Be aware of this if you are a tourist! Always...

They took forever to serve us and because we are tourist they charged us way more than the actual price (double, see receipt attached, they did not even write the names of the items…) we realised the italians next to us were paying half of what we payed… we tried to say something about it and they ignored us and became very rude and agressive, avoiding our claims, we did not want confrontation so we payed and left. I don’t recommend this place, they don’t treat you right and they are very difficult...

Gianluca and his crew are incredible. Not only were the coffee and pastries absolutely incredible, Gianluca jumped to help us during our time of need which shows the true kind nature and big hearts of the people from Napoli. Gianluca thank you for everything and I can't wait to be back for coffee and delicious pastries. You can miss out on this place and it is a MUST VISIT for those...
