I entered the restaurant after reading a blog by someone who had traveled to Italy. I had decided on the menu in advance and ordered two dishes (tomato pasta and mussel soup) as soon as I entered the restaurant. I then took a photo of the menu list to commemorate my visit to the restaurant. The restaurant is located in a tent outside the seating area, so the staff comes only occasionally. It had been more than 30 minutes since I ordered, but not only did I wait but nothing came out, but five minutes later, the person who came after me was served the same tomato pasta that I ordered. I waited another 5 minutes, thinking that maybe I would be served soon. There was no order button, so I had to wait for the staff in the tent. After a while, a male staff member entered the tent. The one who took my order was a woman, but he was a man. But I couldn't wait any longer, so I asked him. Because I have been waiting for more than 40 minutes since I placed my order and nothing has come out.
I asked the male staff if my order of pasta and soup, which I ordered more than 40 minutes ago, had gone through.
The male staff replied, minestrone? It was. I could tell from the male staff member's reply that my order had not gone through. Because I had ordered mussel soup, not minestrone. When I told the male staff that I had ordered tomato pasta with cheese and mussel soup over 40 minutes ago, he suddenly gestured to me that he was in the process of cooking it, as if he could see that I was irritated. I had already waited for more than 40 minutes and there were only three groups of customers including myself. If they forgot to take our order, they should apologize sincerely. Not 10 minutes later, the woman who took our order silently served us pasta without saying a word. It was obvious that she had made it after that. Furthermore, just as I took a bite, a male staff member came into the tent and asked me, "Bonno? I was so surprised. It was obvious that he was trying to put me in a good mood. It was obvious that they were trying to put me in a good mood, because they had not come into the tent at all after taking my first order, but in such a short time, they had started to watch the tent a lot. I think an apology is in order. Because I waited about 50 minutes for one tomato pasta. I couldn't really taste it because I had to wait that long. It was such an irritating meal. And the mussel soup, which I ordered twice, didn't come out until the end. This restaurant is the worst. Please be careful. Also, the tablecloths are very dirty and the heater is only near one seat. The other seats...
Read moreThis place was an awful experience. For a start the chef/owners of the restaurant was rude to my partner, after asking the simple question of where the restroom was. Following this, after our food had arrived…. We had both ordered pasta with seafood. Both arrived overly greasy, fish being under cooked as well as the pasta. My partners being stuck together. As we are all aware, this absolutely crosses the line of food safety and to people’s health. This resulted in both myself and my partner throwing up and feeling ill for the rest of the day. We returned the food after two mouthfuls. We explained to the owner that the food was simply inedible and we would only like to pay for the drinks. He threw the food in the bin- right in front of us might I add- and shoved the card reader in our face. He wouldn’t let us leave without paying the full amount, after trying to explain everything as to why we wont; despite the fact we had eaten next to none of the food…
Would absolutely not recommend eating at this place in the slightest, an older couple who wanted to dine there were turned away in the rudest manor and had left to go elsewhere….. Absolutely...
Read moreOur first meal when we got to Naples. We found this restaurant not far from our hotel. The seafood is very authentic with their own original taste, with a touch of southern Italian.
We were sitting in the tent though it was December there were heaters in the tent. We ordered octopus salad deep fry calamari, shrimp, seafood pasta, fried seaweed doughs, bruschetta. None of those disappointed.
All of them taste so fresh. The deep fried seaweed dough is the highlight, very interesting, I have never tried this before. The dough is a al dente, with taste of seaweed, the salt on top makes the whole dish taste even better. I really like this dish.
The staff here doesn’t speak much English, but they are so nice. They did the best to communicate with us. We were using hands and phone. We paid €70 including tips for a...
