Very rude staff. I went there asked for one of the folding pizzas they have with no pork/meat. Everybody had thin crusted pizzas which were folded in quarters and obviously it is the popular item on their menu and that place is named after folded pizza. I pointed at it and also explained it to the cashier. The cashier who took my order could speak english very well and said I had to get a classic calzone. "Folding pizza and No Pork" sound very clear specially to a person who has a restaurant and speaks english. After one hour wait on the side of the street, it was my turn. They gave me a different looking pizza and I complained that it was not what I asked for. Then they told me that's the classic calzone and they cannot give me another one. They told me that they could throw the pizza in the trash if I didn't want it and they have 50 other customers except me. So it was not the end of the world if they could fix my order. The worst part is when I went back to the hotel and started eating the pizza it HAD PORK. They guy clearly understood that I didn't want pork and I told him just cheese and tomato. Now after such a long wait when most of the places are closed and I'm back to my hotel, I literally have to throw the pizza in the trash and...
Read moreIf you're in Naples and craving authentic street food, Sorbillo Wallet and Fried Pizza is an absolute gem. Tucked in the bustling heart of the city, this spot delivers everything you’d hope for—flavor, tradition, and unbeatable value.
We tried both the pizza portafoglio (wallet pizza) and the pizza fritta (fried pizza), and they were nothing short of spectacular. The wallet pizza was perfectly folded, piping hot, and bursting with rich tomato and mozzarella flavor—ideal for eating on the go. The fried pizza was a revelation: crispy on the outside, soft and savory inside, and surprisingly light despite being deep-fried.
🍕 The prices are incredibly reasonable (some options under €3!), and the service is quick even when there’s a crowd. It’s the kind of place where locals and tourists line up together, and for good reason.
Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or diving into the full Neapolitan street food experience, Sorbillo delivers on every level....
Read moreIf Naples had an official food you could eat with one hand while avoiding scooters with the other, it would be the pizza a portafoglio—and Sorbillo does it right. Hot, cheesy, perfectly folded, and straight-up delicious. It’s the kind of pizza that makes you go, “Why don’t I eat all my meals standing in the street?”
Then there’s the fried pasta—a bold, beautiful brick of carbs that looks like it just walked off a food influencer’s page. Biting in, it’s crunchy outside, soft inside, and while it was a bit on the dry side, it wasn’t bad. Just not as saucy or melty as I hoped. Still enjoyable though—kind of like eating the crispy corner of a baked pasta tray. You know the one.
Final verdict: Wallet pizza? Absolutely worth it. Fried pasta? Not life-changing, but tasty and fun. Definitely a spot to try if you want classic street food with a little crunch and a...
