Ristorante "COM'é" Noto — Restaurant in Noto

First of all, the staff is very kind, professional and caring. We got served some very very tasty fresh bread. I loved the olive bread, maybe a little plate with olive oil would have been perfect with this. We started with an Antipasti of carpaccio of shrimps, we loved it! The shrimp juice, the basil and the olive oil were perfect together. We then both ordered pasta dishes. Both were delicious and felt special but very light! We could easily have a very nice dinner, feeling full but still light. As tourists, sometimes in trattorias, we struggled with the portions. So we think the portions here were perfect. All in all, we‘re surprised by the rating this restaurant has, it deserves higher!

We spent a long time searching Noto for a place that wasn't a tourist trap, as our previous evenings hadn't been great experiences. Luckily, we found it on our last night! COM'é is a real gem with fantastic creations. It was a bit difficult to choose, but the staff were very helpful and answered all our questions. The highlight was the soup. Even on the plate, you could see that we were going to be served something authentically local. It was the best seafood soup we've ever had! It's a really cozy and atmospheric place, and we recommend it...

Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante la settimana scorsa. Cibo buono, ma non eccellente; nulla da dire sul servizio, cameriera molto disponibile e gentile; ambiente freddo nel vero senso della parola finché non sono arrivati altri clienti, amici, e immediatamente è stato acceso il condizionatore. Primo aspetto negativo ... accoglienza diversa fra il cliente conosciuto e il turista di passaggio. Abbiamo ordinato due antipasti, due primi, due secondi, un contorno, una bottiglia di acqua minerale, una birra da 33cl e due caffè ... per un totale di 140€. Il prezzo ci potrebbe pure stare, anche se, ripeto, il pranzo non è stato eccellente. Un grande dubbio, quasi certezza secondo noi, e quindi secondo aspetto negativo, sono stati i prezzi dei 2 primi (50€), arrivati pure freddi al tavolo, e dei due secondi (44€) ... piatti del giorno, quindi fuori menù, quindi senza prezzo e, nel conto casualità i più cari in assoluto rispetto alle portate nel menù. ...???... Prezzo al turista? Credo di sì. Non è la prima volta che succede, purtroppo, e sopratutto nel sud. La cosa ci fa rabbia perché mio marito è siciliano ed io pugliese e ancora non si capisce che questo trattamento poi si rivolta contro perché il turista che potrebbe parlare bene del posto e fare pubblicità, poi dirà a parenti (anche siracusani nel nostro caso) e amici di non andare in quel ristorante perchè ci sono clienti di serie A e clienti di serie B. Peccato, dispiace molto. Tutto il resto ordinato e mangiato aveva un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Non ci torneremo perché in zona allo stesso prezzo abbiamo trovato di meglio,...
