Ca' Pelletti Padova — Restaurant in Padua

Although we are in the middle years of our lives, we travel on average every 2 months, we have traveled to many countries and cities, we have visited Italy several times and we are always happy to return because we love that country, people, food, culture, we have never experienced anywhere else what we experienced in this restaurant. Can it even be called a catering facility? Namely, the four of us sat on the almost empty terrace for more than half an hour. The young waitress passed by us several times, she was setting other tables, standing on the terrace aimlessly looking around, it was impossible not to notice us because there were only three other people there with us and everything was almost empty. Not once did she address us, she obviously ignored us and pretended we didn't exist. After a little more than half an hour, we got up and headed further, because we definitely don't want to beg someone to take our money. Of course, neither the waitress nor anyone else from the staff even looked after us. We jokingly pinched each other to check if we might not really be invisible, but this situation is really more sad than funny. Italians are wonderful, warm and hospitable people and it is really a shame that such individuals create an ugly image and spit on all the hospitality and culture of their fellow citizens and the country they live in. Very, very shameful behavior for someone in the hospitality industry. I just want to emphasize that we could not cause such treatment. We are cultured Europeans, my husband, I and two adult children sat politely at the table and patiently waited for service while talking to each other. Anyway, this restaurant does not deserve any more guests, and the staff should find another job and should never have contact with the service...

me and my friend waited for over an hour only for one meal to come, then we waited for the second meal only to find out they thought we only ordered one meal?? and then i asked how much longer we would have to wait for the second meal, to which they replied "you will have to wait some more time". i then told them to cancel the order, we shared that one meal and left to eat something else cause we were still hungry. it's normal for waiters to make mistakes, but the fact that noone even apologized, let alone offered some kind of compensation, is really unprofessional and rude overall. at the end we payed 20eur for one meal, one bottle of water and the "service", which is...

Veniamo a Padova, da Milano, per portare il nostro cane alle visite oncologiche presso una nota clinica veterinaria. Quindi quando soggiorniamo negli hotel a Padova facciamo i delivery con le app di Glovo e Deliveroo. Una sera abbiamo provato ad ordinare da questo ristorante e ci è molto piaciuto. La consegna a domicilio (eravamo in zona Prato Della Valle) è stata molto veloce. Così, dato che alloggiavamo presso l' Hotel Europa abbiamo deciso di andarci direttamente senza fare il delivery. Siamo andati con il nostro cane che è stato ben accolto dai ragazzi e dalle ragazze dello Staff. Gli hanno portato anche una ciottola d'acqua. Davvero Bravi Ragazzi che svolgono il loro lavoro con passione, sempre gentili, sorridenti e disponibili a soddisfare le richieste dei clienti. Ancora prima dei prodotti e della location sono le Persone che determinano il successo e la soddisfazione dei clienti. Siamo esseri umani, con le nostre emozioni, debolezze e valori, quindi fa sempre piacere entrare in un luogo dove ci si sente come a casa, sopratutto se ci si trova lontano da casa! Quindi complimenti a tutto il personale e a Cà Pelletti che ha saputo scegliere bene i propri collaboratori ! Ci è piaciuto molto perché è un ambiente moderno dallo stile Emiliano, accogliente e luminoso. Ho apprezzato molto le grandi vetrate da cui si può ammirare la vita della città che scorre: i tram, i bus, i taxi, le persone e i palazzi del centro. Ovviamente il menù al ristorante è molto più ampio del menù delivery sulle app perché ci sono dei piatti che per motivi logistici sono difficoltosi da portare (esempio i brodi). Sicuramente è molto più bello recarsi al ristorante per passare una bella serata in compagnia piuttosto che rimanere in hotel e aspettare la consegna a domicilio. Dato che ci siamo trovati molto bene all' hotel Europa e visto che Cà Pelletti è a pochi passi dall' hotel, la prossima volta che verremo a Padova ci torneremo ! E nel caso in cui fossimo stanchi o in un hotel più lontano faremo ancora...
