Il Vecchio Cortile — Restaurant in Palermo

Unfortunately, we didn’t have a great experience here, which seems to line up with some of the other reviews we saw.

There were four of us, and it took about 50 minutes for our food to arrive, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. That wait felt way too long. Two of our friends had risotto and pasta, and both dishes were pretty tasteless. Our meal was okay, but the meat was only warm, not hot.

The service didn’t help either. Our waiter seemed tired and wasn’t very friendly, which made the whole vibe feel a bit off. It’s a shame because the place itself looks really nice. Also, the toilet didn’t have any hand soap, which is definitely not ideal, especially after eating prawns.

Overall, the food and service just didn’t match the prices. Hopefully, the owners take this kind of feedback on board and make some much-needed...

This is an honest review. After many days on holidays in Italy eating out.. unluckily for me, I ended up having the worst meal in this restaurant. I ordered a seafood rissoto totally tasteless, not even adding salt and pepe makes it get better. I am coming from Australia and food in there are horrible this restaurant makes me feel better about food in Australia. Besides they are way more expensive than the competition and other trattorias nearby. Very amateur, not even have soap at the toilets for washing the hands. When requested they offered us...

Un Ristorante Pizzeria accogliente e pulito dall’ambiente raffinato ed elegante. Il locale non molto grande, è suddiviso in due zone, una interna dallo stile classico e gradevole e in una esterna disposta all’interno di un cortile con gazebo molto verde e arredato con gusto. Luogo ideale per trascorrere una bella serata con gli amici o in famiglia mentre si gusta un’appetitosa e fragrante pizza cotta con forno a legna o in alternativa altre proposte gastronomiche di altrettanta qualità e riportate nel ricco menù che privilegiano la cucina tradizionale siciliana e non solo. Un menu davvero ricco e interessante, antipasti tradizionali, taglieri di salumi e formaggi composti da prodotti tipici regionali, antipasti con primi e secondi piatti a base di pesce o di carne, dessert per tutti i gusti e infine, dalla carta di vini, un’ampia scelta tra birre artigianali locali e ottimi vini. Il servizio è assicurato da un personale attento e competente che con cordialità accoglie i clienti mettendoli sin da subito a proprio agio. Il prezzo è superiore alla media però ben proporzionato alla qualità dei prodotti offerti. Concludo elogiando il proprietario, nonché gestore, del “Ristorante Pizzeria Il Vecchio Cortile” e i suoi collaboratori, poiché, a mio modesto avviso, ritengo questo locale uno dei migliori esistenti città in quanto si contraddistingue da tanti altri della stessa tipologia per l’ottimo servizio offerto alla propria clientela e per l’utilizzo di prodotti di eccellente qualità che rendono le varie proposte gastronomiche, riportate in un menù sempre aggiornato, un vera delizia per il palato....
