The cutest family run, hole in the wall restaurant just off the main tourist street.
Chef Rosy (mamma) makes the most delicious preserved vegetables and caponata. Gaetano (papa) is full of energy and warmth and works the floor with their children. It feels as if they are welcoming you into their home, which I think they actually are, as he mentioned Nonno lives upstairs and makes the cannoli (they are delicious).
The pizza tasted of love and the ingredients so so fresh. The dough was slightly thick for my personal preference, but cooked beautifully and served with contagious joy.
Gaetano told us they only opened 15 days ago, and they are doing impressively well already. I wish them all the best and look forward to visiting again and seeing their success upon returning to Palermo. Grazie...

Pizzeria Sant’Agostino was such a vibe. It’s a true family-run spot, you can literally feel it the second you walk in. The brothers are back there laughing, goofing off, and just enjoying what they do. It gives the whole place such a warm, happy energy.
We’ve been through seven different parts of Italy (including Naples — the actual birthplace of pizza), and somehow this was the one that blew us away. We ordered the pizza named after the restaurant, and it was absolutely perfect. No grease, just bright, fresh, vibrant flavors that make you stop mid-bite like, “wow.”
