The cutest family run, hole in the wall restaurant just off the main tourist street.

Chef Rosy (mamma) makes the most delicious preserved vegetables and caponata. Gaetano (papa) is full of energy and warmth and works the floor with their children. It feels as if they are welcoming you into their home, which I think they actually are, as he mentioned Nonno lives upstairs and makes the cannoli (they are delicious).

The pizza tasted of love and the ingredients so so fresh. The dough was slightly thick for my personal preference, but cooked beautifully and served with contagious joy.

Gaetano told us they only opened 15 days ago, and they are doing impressively well already. I wish them all the best and look forward to visiting again and seeing their success upon returning to Palermo. Grazie...

Hands down the best pizza we’ve had in all of Italy!

Pizzeria Sant’Agostino was such a vibe. It’s a true family-run spot, you can literally feel it the second you walk in. The brothers are back there laughing, goofing off, and just enjoying what they do. It gives the whole place such a warm, happy energy.

We’ve been through seven different parts of Italy (including Naples — the actual birthplace of pizza), and somehow this was the one that blew us away. We ordered the pizza named after the restaurant, and it was absolutely perfect. No grease, just bright, fresh, vibrant flavors that make you stop mid-bite like, “wow.”

It was the kind of pizza that ruins all other pizza for you. 😂 10/10 We’ll be talking about this one for a long time. Also, pizzas...

I thought I’d had good pizza before, but this place in Italy proved me completely wrong. The dough is alive with flavor, light but substantial; the tomato sauce tastes like it was made that morning; and the toppings respect the base instead of suffocating it. Every bite is balanced, simple, and perfect — the kind of pizza that makes you realize most of what you’ve eaten before was just an imitation.

The ambience isn’t dressed up for tourists, and that’s what makes it special. No fake rustic charm, no curated Instagram corners — just real people, loud conversations, wood smoke in the air, and a raw atmosphere that makes the food feel even more honest. If you want the kind of meal that quietly ruins every slice you’ll eat afterward, this...

I had one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten here — actually, the best pizza I’ve had in both Palermo and Rome! The crust was perfect, the ingredients were super fresh, and the flavor was amazing. The portion was huge and the price surprisingly low. On top of that, the waiter was incredibly kind and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended — I’d definitely come back! 🍕✨

This is a small local restaurant with laid back and very friendly atmosphere. The owner puts a lot of heart to make a delightful pizza. I ate San Agostino pizza, my fiance took Parmigiano pizza, and my friend decided on Calzone. Food was excellent in taste and aroma, so good, that we ate everything including the crust of the pizza - the crust was so good. I highly reccomend!
