Read moreMenu looks great, but the servers knew little about it. The first server helped us to our seat. We had a conversation about dietary restriction. He verbalized the kitchen and the staff does a great job acknowledging these concerns. He leaves never comes back. The next server, poor english, is oblivious about the conversation we had with the first server. Three dinner entrees, and kabobs appitizer. steaki is out, looks great and tastes great. BUt, another 20 min. for the appitizer, wrap, not a kabob .. language barrier, but..., it tastes good too. 20 - 30 min after that the next entree pasta with clams and a prawn. Scauce is just ok with a good portion. Pizza... not the one we ordered, but since waiting about 45 min it, it's fine.. But it's not. it's the worst pizza we've had. Loose sauce watered down with undrained buffalo mozzarella soup on top of under cooked crust. Not good.... Service, we never got a check-in or another drink after ordering. They were kindly ignoring us, which is a thing i guess but maybe be just one time .. .... not an expensive meal, but not a great meal, the service was less as soon we ordered........ went back out looking...
Read moreWe were a bit disappointed with the main course we chose, as it did not look like the picture of the menu at all. We expected a dish of pasta with many cooked vegetables, whereas in the end, we got a dish of pasta with a tomato sauce with a few bits of other vegetables. Maybe there’s a difference between a summer and a winter card we did not know about ? Apart from that, we really loved the place! Very well located in the vivid hood of Via Maqueda/Vitto Emmanuele but a bit remote in a corner to enjoy a vivid and warm atmosphere but not as noisy as the main streets. The decoration is gorgeous outside with nice music and even more pleasant inside to have a drink or dinner. The staff was really kind and careful to us, despite the fact that we cannot speak Italian (we are French). A special thank to one of the waiter who speaks French (as he’s from Senegal) and took time to speak with us (and translate things). We definitely would come back...
