Very interesting place. It's a very local restaurant tucked away from the main streets. It doesn't look like much from the outside. All you see is a sign. You can't even look inside, but the place was packed! You'll see all sorts of people here from local workers to people in suits. There's no menu or anything written on the board, but instead you have to ask the waiter about what they have. The guy who helped me spoke English and helped me pick out my dishes. Got a mixed starter with aubergine rolls and aubergine caponata which were amazing! I followed it up with a pasta. Not sure if I got the right dish or not. I ordered a pasta with sardines, but it tastes more like meat? And it had potatoes on it which was a first for me. The pasta was pretty good. Nothing really special. The bill was very cheap. Paid only €9 for a starter, pasta, 1/4L wine and cover charge. Definitely check out this place if you want the true local experience!

Friendly, no-frills, and packed with regulars day drinking and carbo-loading. There’s no printed menu in this restaurant but you can go to Google and point at images & the very helpful staff will be more than happy to confirm whether they have that dish that day or not. The caponata is a must order as well as the house wine that comes from a 2 liter PET bottle. We also had the pasta chi sarde and Norma in small portions so we can have the swordfish fillet and grilled squid. We paid a little over 30€. Very cheap for a very excellent meal. The guy who welcomed us in was also more than happy to show me how to properly eat my pasta, now that’s customer service.

I was really disappointed with my visit to Trattoria da Pino. Even though they had five staff members working and the restaurant wasn't busy, the service was incredibly slow. I ended up spending two hours there just to have a few small dishes, which felt like way too long. Unfortunately, the food didn't help either - everything looked and tasted like it had been microwaved rather than freshly prepared. On top of that, they didn't even have any desserts available when I asked. To make matters worse, I expected the meal to be reasonably priced, but it definitely wasn't cheap. Overall, not what I hoped for.

Food: Simply delicious local dishes for local people who know what they want. No fuss. No menu. You can either tell what you want or, if not so familiar, listen to what they have to choose from.

Drink: All the regulars from il vino della casa to different sodas and water.

Service: You definitely feel the years of service experience these guys have. Even if you arrive at the peak hour, they will treat you fairly and host you professionally. Tourists can be intimidating for trattorie but not here. They patiently have conversation with you to make sure you order what you really want and be happy. Fast and clean service.

Atmosphere: What you expect from a trattoria like this one - some pictures, local team posters, easy to clean tables... :)

Overall: Such places are gems where you get the optimal price/quality. What makes this place special is its simplicity and how high it is delivered. Happy to discover, totally...
