Meet Hamburger Gourmet — Restaurant in Parma

A burger restaurant that uses locally sourced, organic 'responsible' ingredients. Really great to see the drive to do this in a few places these days.

This hasn't pushed the prices up noticeably.

Three of us dropped in without a reservation and were seated straight away. The place did get full and was quite busy even for a Wednesday evening.

The service was quick and pleasant. We used a mix of English and attempted Italian to order though English would have been enough, it seems impolite to not try to learn. The menus were supplied in English as well which helped.

The burgers are big, the buns are big and the filings are copious. Order a side to really fill you up. The drinks are on the small side but that's a continental difference to the excessive sizes in the UK not specific to this place. Not a complaint, just you might want to order "due bottiglia d'acqua" not one.

I enjoyed my chicken burger and the beef varieties were enjoyed by my colleagues. Definitely recommend you check the board for the daily specials. You don't just have to have burgers, there are other options.

The only minor gripe was it took a long time to pay and leave. I think it was a combination of being busy and us not being sure of whether this was a pay at the table or at the till place (get you slip at the table and pay at the till).

Definitely a decent place to have a pleasant if un-Italian...

🍔 Within 10 mins of arriving in Parma I came here to pick up a burger on the way to my hotel, because of the excellent reviews. The restaurant is pretty spacious and very funky, with lots of objects and collections, kitschy in a good sense! Really enjoyed looking around and admiring the decor 🪀🍻🐾

The owner was very kind and helped me order in English, on their online menu you can select English. You can choose from their existing burgers, or burger of the month (Lobster roll this month) or create your own.

I put together my own 🍗 Chicken one with amazing 5 cereal bread, chicken, delicious Giardiniera sauce, onion compote. There are many options based on your own preferences, each with a supplement. It was a delicious burger, fresh and healthy, very gourmet and good size! Excellent value for €12.50 but note that fries / sides...

We ordered two meat burgers with classic bread both of them cooked well. Got mine with the additional of +2€ cheddar and as you can see, it is not the amount you could expect from the price. Also got my sauce next to the burger, I recommend that you take it inside the burger because otherwise it is very dry. The taste of the meat is more flavorful, if you don't like strong taste of beef you might prefer the other options.. The burger comes with a cabbage salad with no dressing. The chips and sauces are okay. I am sorry but the best thing on the table was the gassosa.
