Started off well, we had nice service from the staff. Our drinks were nice and chilled (cans of Coca Cola so hard to go wrong). It started getting bad with the starters - chicken pakora and mixed starter, chicken pakora was grey and dry, the mixed started was also very dry - however the sauces that came with both were very nice. The mains we got chana masala and a chicken madras, both were unbelievably salt, it was all you could taste. The madras had 0 spice just salt and the Chana had a slight spice but probably on a similar level to a korma - I think the salt just killed all flavour. The rice was nice and well cooked. The naan breads had a really odd flavour, we got plain and cheese and both had a really strange flavour. We both left still hungry despite trying to force ourselves to eat it because we didn’t want to waste €30. The lady when we were leaving was lovely and polite. Overall though this was the worst Indian meal I have ever had. We both also ended up with sore stomachs the following day probably due to the amount of salt or the grey chicken as there was no spice whatsoever. My partner said he felt as though the meals are pre prepared and microwaved when needed. I have tried to leave as balanced of a review as possible as it appears to be a family running it and I do believe they put a lot of hard work in but the food was substandard.
It is now 2 days after this meal and we got food poisoning...
Read moreWORST Owner of an Indian restaurant in the world !!! No respect for Indian customers at all. If you raise any concerns politely to the staff, you will definitely be getting some harsh words or arguments from the owner.
Clear discrimination between foreign & indian customers. He will serve the wine properly to foreigners, but to us, it will only be just at the table and asked to serve yourself.
Any additional request can be turned into an argument with the owner at any point of time. So please be aware, it doesn't matter whether you are with family. On a very normal request to put some more butter on the bread for my kid as naan was not enough fresh & warm, the owner's statement: Butter is not free. Even his chef tried to accept the issue, he was scolded by the owner in front of everyone.
Clearly declined to accept card payment to harass me and my family bcz we did not have enough cash and wanted to pay via card.
Remarkable lines: "Aise indian ghumte firte bahut aate hai, hm yha 25 sal se rah re hai". He means to say settling aboard is the only respectable way of living.
Completely unethical, inhuman, disappointing & unforgettable experience for the life long.
Rest up to your experience !!! Have a great...
Read moreWe were hungry after our trip to the Tower and were looking for some good Indian food. We searched on the internet and found this. It was Saturday. When we entered, the manager did not look very keen to invite us. He said, every alternate Saturday, they have some big tour engagement, so he and his team are busy in arrangements. When we said we will have quick food (as we really wanted to have some home food) then he agreed but unwillingly. We ordered tandoori roti-Naan-Chicken Tava- Dal Tadka and pulav (all cost only 21 euro). Food-wise, it's ok (not good, not bad).
Here comes the interesting part, when I paid by my bank of America card, the manager came and apologize us that we could not serve you properly, sorry about that. I was like why he did not treat us well earlier. Is it because he saw America's name on the...
