Yaimai Thai Restaurant & Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Pisa

We were visiting Pisa for the weekend and fancied a different kind of cuisine. Even an Italian couple recommended this place and it did not disappoint! I had the Tom Yum Kung which tasted exactly how it was in Thailand, my boyfriend had a curry which was beautiful and spicy too- he is also vegetarian and there was vegetarian options for him too which was great! The atmosphere was lovely so relaxed and laid back which was a nice breath of fresh air as it can get very busy in Pisa! The staff were the best, very attentive and lovely and put a smile on our faces as soon as we entered ! If I ever return to Pisa I will definitely come back to try more of the menu and for the staff! During our holiday in the region we spent one day in Pisa and were looking for a Thai Restaurant for dinner. We couldn´t have found a better place! My Thai wife was so happy about the warm welcome of the Thai lady who was the owner and his husband also made everything possible so that we can enjoy our dinner to the fullest. Food was good. Not the best but tasted good. Portion sizes are small. The red curry paste portion was very small. The lady at the front was all in one, she was doing everything from Janitor to serving etc. Very friendly lady but guess she has hard time understanding English. took all of our items but missed delivering one.
