I have been several times in this restaurant and I enjoied the food, specially the fish and its freshness, and various tasty antipasti. However yesterday I was here with a foreign guest and I decided to trust the waiter who offered us a Degustazione antipasti, a selection of fish appetizers of his choice. That was a mistake: he brought us a selection of cold dishes: some prawns on a chickpea sauce with no flavor, some clams sprinkled with crumbled bread and parsley again without any flavor, than some fried fish which was cold and full of bones, mullets on tomato sauce barely acceptable and a finally an acceptable octopus salad. There was a small amount of confusion with the waiter over placing orders for antipasti and primi piatti at the same time but again, this isn't a typical tourist spot so it's going to be a different experience. The eggplant Parmesan is off the charts yummy, and I had the vegetable salad (find it in secondi piatti) that was everything I could hope for in a salad. Lunch for 10 with 5 bottles of water, 3 cocktails, and 2...

The pasta I ordered was a seafood dish (I wish I could remember the name!), but it was absolutely phenomenal. The flavors were rich and balanced, with the freshness of the seafood shining through in every bite. The pasta itself was perfectly cooked, with that beautiful handmade texture that makes all the difference. You could tell a lot of care went into both the ingredients and the preparation.
The service was lovely as well — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. It made the whole experience feel even more special. Highly recommend this place if you’re in Pisa and want to treat yourself to a truly memorable...
