Ristorante pizzeria da Nicola — Restaurant in Portofino

Tried this place when we visited Portofino. We ordered pizza, seafood soup, and spaghetti with meat sauce. How can you go wrong with these choices in Italy? It was bad! The seafood soup was very small in quantity (and it costed €28). The spaghetti sauce was too salty and tasted bad. They served us bread sticks in a paper bag while other guests were served in nice baskets (but the bread tasted stale no matter how they served it). We went there yesterday and... we'll, considering the location it left a lot to be desired! 3,5€ for the bottle of tap water. 3,5€ each for the table service. All in all we paid over 40€ for the two of us.

I ordered their specialty "pasta a la Nicola" and it wasn't very good at all. No taste, with a cream which stuck to the uncooked pasta as poorly made glue. And I'm not a picky eater.

Ho conosciuto questo locale grazie ad invito di un mio cliente: da allora quando voglio Mangiare a Portofino le mie scelte sono solo due : da o Magazin o qui da Nicola. Se da O magazin la cucina è probabilmente superiore da Nicola comunque, si può trovare un cibo Sempre ottimo ad un prezzo assolutamente giusto per l'ambiente, per la Location e la bellezza che si gusta ai tavoli di questo locale. I primi sono eccellenti ed i secondi soddisfano sempre. Segnalazione speciale per il servizio ai tavoli dove un fantastico cameriere di origini napoletane è sempre cortese ed attento nel suggerirti il Piatto del giorno. Dolci ottimo e ripeto posizione davvero eccellente: pertanto lo suggerisco vivamente! Da provare non ve ne pentirete!
