This place has to be the worst restaurant, if it can even be considered that, my wife and I had eaten at during our whole Italy trip. Firstly the service the was atrocious, took a good 10 minutes before the waiter even responded to us, by the time we got to order he was busy laughing and doing something else on his phone. Then the coffee and croissant came, the bread tasted stale and a weird after taste. The coffee when it arrived on our table half the cup was on the saucer, still we said nothing. Finally the pizza came that was the biggest joke of all, coming to Italy you expect the pizza would be at least half decent to say the least but this was on a whole new level. It felt like eating plastic on cardboard and still cold. That was it I had take a stance, I went in and complained about the food and the experience or lack of. The boss said they will reheat my pizza. Thank you but no thank you. Come on guys do your jobs properly and serve some...
Read moreThis was one of the most disappointing and unpleasent experience I've had in a bar so far. The waiters were extremely rude. When we tried to order they simply ignored us. After they finally decided to acknowledge us the attitude of the waiter was horrible as well. He was completely uninterested in us. We wanted to have a nice breakfast there so we asked for 6 brioches and some drinks. Then we were told that there were only 3 brioches left. (It was only around 10 am). We asked whether there is any other pastries left and he responded with a simple no. Later we went into to shop to use the toilet and we saw that it was full of pastries that we could've ordered. On the top of that it was a complete rip off. Having to pay 60 € for 3 brioches 3 glasses of water and 3 orange juices is ridiculous. Would definitely not recommend if you don't want to...
Read moreVery Bad! Even if waiters were discrete the dishes were poorly prepared with scarce quality ingredients and hyper-expensive for what was offered: 16 Euros for a simple mozzarella with a tomato (Caprese) is too much even for Portofino!! Moreover they totally forget about my gelato going against their interest (15 Euros). Bread was stale. After one hour I entered to pay, and I understood everything: worn out furnitures, messy, claustrophobic and dirty place. The "manager" - an oriental lady whose name was probably not "Mariuccia" - was in a call at the cashier and we were in two customers waiting her to pay... for minutes. Those pseudo italian bars and restaurants are a shame for Italian tourism image. There are hundreds of them and must be avoided. Better if they close and get back to locals...
