Nice place for a pizza, a cold drink, or a dessert, especially as it overlooks the beach and pier for some lovely views. However, the layout is awful - the shop gets rammed very quickly and the lack of a proper queue system causes chaos - you order your food and drink on the right of the shop, then show the hot food server your receipt after you've paid and you stand waiting amongst the bustle in the entrance for your food. Again, this isn't too bad, but the staff on the occasion we visited were abrupt and severely rude. They didn't usher us over when we were waiting in line, just sat talking amongst each other as if it were a chore to serve. As I was ordering he continued chatting and laughing with his mate. Didn't ask for a payment method, he simply thrusted the card machine at me while still chatting even though I had cash ready, then again looked at me like I'd done something wrong. 0 acknowledgement. I'm not sure if this is a racial thing - being British Indian we have experienced some discrimination here in Italy - but we don't let it get to us, we spend and tip well and care not for other people's opinions. Read moreI visited Positano alone for my birthday trip. Since I joined a tour, my free time there was limited. Initially, I planned to just grab a beer and leave, but the breathtaking view from the terrace made me stay a little longer. I noticed other guests enjoying lemon cake, and it looked so delicious that I decided to try it too. When I asked if they had a candle, the staff kindly provided one, and I became excited about spending an unforgettable birthday by myself.
What truly moved me was the incredible thoughtfulness of the staff. They surprised me by playing a birthday song just for me, making the moment even more special. The lemon cake was absolutely delicious, and I was deeply touched by their kindness.
I’m so grateful for the unforgettable memories they created for me on this trip. If I ever return to Positano, this place will definitely be on my must-visit list. Thank you once again for making my birthday so...
Read moreGood place to eat something quick and easy: paninos, pizzas, focaccias. Good views over the beach of Positano. The boy selected my order and in the screen I saw 31.5€. I thought “that’s too much” so I argued to the boy. He said: 21.5€ and I replied: “that makes sense”. Then he gave me card machine and I saw the price to charge: 31.5€ again… Mmm, boy, that’s not the price and he did fixed it again to finally charge 21.5€… In Spanish we say: “Piensa mal y acertarás”. Something...
