Ocean Bar in Positano is nothing short of a dream. Perched right by the water, it offers one of the most breathtaking backdrops you could imagine—rows of sun-soaked umbrellas on the beach, the Mediterranean sparkling in the distance, and a vibrant atmosphere that captures the essence of the Amalfi Coast. But what really sets Ocean Bar apart are the drinks. Coming from New York, where cocktails are often hit-or-miss and overpriced, I was blown away by the quality here. Each drink feels like it’s crafted with care and precision. The cocktails I tried—a frothy, elegant tequila-based concoction served in a coupe glass and a refreshing Casamigos margarita on the rocks—were some of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and incredibly refreshing under the Italian sun. These drinks aren’t just good for Positano—they easily rival and surpass most of what I’ve had back home in New York. To pair with the cocktails, the wood-fired pizza was a revelation. A classic Neapolitan-style pie with blistered crust, fresh mozzarella, and tangy tomato sauce—it’s the kind of simple yet perfect dish that reminds you why Italy is unmatched when it comes to food. Enjoying it seaside with a cold drink in hand was pure bliss. Ocean Bar isn’t just a place to grab a bite or a drink—it’s an experience. If you’re in Positano, don’t miss it. The combination of stunning views, incredible cocktails, and authentic Italian food makes it a highlight of the Amalfi Coast. āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø

The Ocean Bar Positano is a popular spot located along Spiaggia Grande, known for its chic ambiance, stunning views of the Positano coastline, and a relaxed vibe. Here’s what you can expect: Features of Ocean Bar Positano: 1. Prime Location: Positioned right on the beach, it offers a front-row seat to the picturesque cliffs and colorful village of Positano. 2. Drinks & Cocktails: The bar is renowned for its expertly crafted cocktails, including classics like Aperol Spritz and local specialties featuring Amalfi lemons. 3. Food Options: Light snacks, seafood dishes, and Italian staples like bruschetta and pasta are available, making it a great spot for both drinks and casual dining. 4. Relaxed Atmosphere: A laid-back vibe that makes it perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring or sunbathing. When to Visit: • Daytime: Perfect for a refreshing drink or snack while enjoying the beach. • Evening: Offers a romantic setting to watch the sunset with a cocktail in hand.

Amazing beach bar right off the coast of Positano!!! Come down by navigating to the Spiaggia Beach and it’s a quick find. Close to the main Port where it’s easy to catch a ferry or walk right back up to the area where busses can be found for travel back to other coastal areas. Immaculate vibes, provides a nice shady area and very adult and classy energy which is nice. The seating area is spaced out very well so you can choose to enjoy your time privately with those you come with or chat with others not too nearby, but close enough to connect. Gorgeous scenery and great music as well. Definitely recommend. While some may feel €20-€25 per drink is pricey, we felt it was typical and worth it for the service and for the type of holiday/vacation spot found in Positano. The service is also so nice, the Team Members were kind and attentive and they even brought us some snacks to munch on while we enjoyed our drinks as a bonus!

Visited this bar while on holiday and unfortunately had a very frustrating experience. I initially ordered an alcoholic cocktail but realised within 10 seconds that I couldn’t have it due to medication I had taken for sea sickness that day. I immediately told the staff and was initially reassured that cancelling the drink was ā€œfine.ā€

However, about five minutes later, I was told that it couldn’t be cancelled as ā€œit’s on the systemā€ and there was ā€œno delete button.ā€ I explained again that I couldn’t have alcohol for health reasons, but they didn’t seem concerned or accommodating. In the end, they made me a non-alcoholic version instead.

When the bill arrived, I noticed the drink listed was the one I actually received — meaning they had managed to remove the original cocktail from the system after all. So the claim that it couldn’t be done was clearly false.

To make things worse, the original drink I tried to cancel was €25 for a single cocktail — absolutely extortionate. The whole experience left a bad taste, as it felt like the staff were more interested in making money than showing any kind of flexibility or customer care.

Wouldn’t return or recommend, especially given the prices and...

Went to this place knowing the prices were gonna be way too high, accepted that, thinking a beer was going to be max 10 euros, which is, all things considered, a scam. But then again, you’re in a European hotspot, fair enough.

Not expecting to arrive and there only being 20 people, of which most are freeloading of some old rich dude, their problem.

But charging 15 euros for a simple Peroni, and no it wasn’t made of gold. You’re not UNVRS / Pascha Ibiza, it’s a simple beach club in Italy and that’s all it will be. Go waste ur money at Music on the rocks (which is terrible too.)

A cocktail isn’t much better, apart from the fact that they’re made good, well balanced and taste good, but 30 euros for 2 sips of espresso martini is madness.

Big shoutout to the curly haired bartender who remade my drink after I found a hair in it, he was the only highlight of this place, guy knows his drinks and has a good charm, if you visit, visit if for him, only reason this place gets 2 stars nothing else about this place is worth visiting.

Atleast the toilets are free, wouldn’t have expected it from a place...
