Elisir Ristorante e Bistrot — Restaurant in Rapallo

Once again I have nothing but great things to say. Food, service, and experience amazing! Highly recommend Bresaola rocket salad, very generous portion on the plate and the presentation was spectacular And for the second course most definitely get the pasta with mixed seafood so freaking good!!

Same owners as the Elisir restaurant I reviewed a couple nights ago and they hold a clear standard. Which is to give great service and just amazing food, nothing flashy and not trying to be anything they are not. If you want an authentic experience I highly recommend both restaurants cannot go wrong either way. Thank you so much for making my first time in the Italian Rivera something special...

We just went to have lunch. Place is centrally located and looked neat and fresh. Service was attentive. The food was terrible. We ordered just Breaded Veal Cutlet, portion of french fries to share, and two glasses of rose by server recommendation. The veal cutlet was difficult to cut with knife, so fried it was. Tasted like the old cow fried to death. Wine was on a sour side. Server and an owner seem surprised to find this out. The check was 55€. Do not go there, have your meal...

The fried calamari was very good, you could tell it was fresh. The pasta was just ok. The trofie al pesto had overcooked green beans and potatoes while the spaghetti al pomodoro was a bit sour. However what disappointed us the most was the service - although we were given a table well before closing time, from the beginning the servers felt like they wanted to rush our meal and get us to leave.
