Definitely worth the great rating! The setting is intimate in a small garden between buildings, away from the main noisy street. We (2people) shared the emilia romagna platter for 2, the frisella & the crostoni. Starting with the platter where the meats were definitely of a much higher quality than what you regularly find in supermarkets or other restaurants, especially the prosciutto was very soft and would melt in your mouth. It also contained a soft cheese and a hard, more intense in flavour mature cheese, some salami, mortadella, some fried fat, and I think some coppa. They all come in the company of some integral bread (the crunchy one had an amazing flavour of seeds). Then the frisella with tomatoes and straciatella was a base of crunchy bread (and soft inside) in the form of a bagel, drowned in very qualitative olive oil, very fresh and simple, yet delicious. Crostoni were a whole gastronomic experience, one with fungi porcini and cream, one with sour cabbage and crunchy prosciutto on top, and one with liver pate I think and if I am correct it also tasted a little bit like spinach? Anyway delicious, best one is the red cabbage one. The service was top, host was very friendly and I also bought some of their local produce, ragu sauce and garganelli pasta to take home to Romania. Definitely would recommend taking a look inside their store. They gave us 2 lotus biscuits...
Read moreDuring our visit to the beautiful city of Ravenna, we were lucky enough to discover a small but truly exceptional bistrot that offered us one of the best meals we’ve had in Italy.
We sat in a charming little courtyard — a hidden gem that provided the perfect atmosphere to enjoy our meal in peace and beauty.
The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
As for the food — it was simply outstanding. Every dish was full of flavor and clearly homemade with care and love by the owners themselves. You could truly taste the passion in every bite.
This place is a must-visit. A memorable dining experience that we would recommend...
Read moreI loved Ravenna, and Alpine enogastronomia was one of the places that made the weekend there even better.
The food is made with fine products from around Italy, and the owners took the time to explain about their meals and the products they offer. The place is right in the heart of Ravenna, and inside a lovely little courtyard.
Though most of the menu is meat or fish, there are some amazing vegetation options, and the owners made sure to adjust other meals that had meat in them.
Other than that - one of the best Proseccos I had in Italy, with a lovely platter...
