I am a long-term Maps user, but I had never posted a review before. This one won't be pretty.
Ravenna is a wonderful town, really worth a visit if you are particularly interested in ancient history and the development of Western Europe Christianity and its art. Our experience had been enjoyable all day... until we made a stop at the place.
The reception was rude. The waitress yelled at us to place us at a specific table. The food was very average. My mediocre cooking skills would have been better than the terrible pasta we were served. Way overpriced as one could expect. The service took forever.
After asking for the bill three times, I had to go inside if we ever wanted to leave this oppressing atmosphere. The reception was extremely cold at the cash. A man, presumably the owner or manager, gives me the bill in a very passive-aggressive manner. Once settled, I said goodbye. His answer was "It seems that way".
Beautiful setting in a quiet yard away from the street. This is how tourists are caught. Everything else is the opposite of what the place looks like. I would stay away from this...

Our third round of orders were late. So we went to the bar to pay. (You pay at the cashier). Our waitress was trying to do her best. But at cashier, there was a big chaos since we changed our place. She raised the tension and asked me what I am laughing at. I said I am saving you from trouble. I was stressed with the time and her manner and I paid whatever she said without checking and left. Then I realized she made us paid the final items they never served although we waited for a long time. Be careful with inflexible manner...

While walking around, I took a peek inside the courtyard. It was charming! There were a few empty tables, so we sat in the shade.
We had a great lunch. I ordered the Ravioli di ricotta e spinaci con burro e salvia (ravioli filled with ricotta cheese, spinach, butter and sage), along with a glass of house white wine. It's one of my favorite dishes from the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. The ravioli was so tender, perfectly cooked.
My husband had the Carpaccio di bresaola con rucola e grana (beef carpaccio with arugula and parmesan). It was a beautiful display of food. He enjoyed it along with his beer.
This was a perfect spot for lunch in a...
