Al Cavallino Bianco Ristorante — Restaurant in Rome

Seemed nice enough and busy so we took a risk and wished we hadn't. The menu promised a lot but the waiting staff didn't have much of a clue and whoever was in the kitchen wasn't far behind them. A random plate of chips (fries for Americans) turned up before anything else and was soon waived away. The waitress had no clue what my wife's primi order was, my crab linguini turned up with crushed crab shells which meant I had to eat my pasta very carefully to avoid losing teeth. My secondi meal turned up before I had finished my primi, so that was sent back too and then cancelled having lost faith in whatever was going on between the kitchen and front of house. What can I say about my wife's peppercorn sauce with her steak? Nothing... just look at the picture! It was disgusting and tasted worse than it looks in...

Very disappointed in this restaurant. Looked very good from menu and outside. There was four of us, we sat down and got drinks. Two different people asked us two times what we ordered. One person got their steak and we had him eat it before ours because they came back out and asked the other three what was ordered again. Then the other two got their pasta meals and the fourth person had no food after an hour of sitting there. Finally the fourth person asked where their food was and they kept saying two minutes every 10 minutes. Then we told them to forget it and they said that we ordered pasta and thats why it was taking so long. It was terrible. There was too much miscommunication and terrible service. Food...

Oh my God. We arrived there at 22:30,the restaurant was strangely fully empty. We have ordered spaghetti.What can I say about it? Uncooked,sour and the quantity was unsatisfing. It was so uncooked we were unable to eat it. We anounced the waiter that its unedible and we asked for the note so we can leave.They charged us 26€ for two awful meals and some wine which was decent.In top of all this they charged an extra 2 € for the service and while we waited for our "delicious" food the waiter was dragging a garbage bag on the floor after him which looked like a bodybag.It was a really romantic evening with my loved one what can I...
