I was here yesterday and even though the kitchen wasn't even open yet about 5:30 pm they took pity on me and seated me at a nice little table outside and lit the pizza oven for me.( This was after I told them I had just flown in from Miami and had found them on Google maps). I had a glass of wine and called my daughter wi-fi on WhatsApp. Exiting way to end a day. I had a wonderful mushroom pizza with the lightest flaky crust reminiscent of saltine crackers. One of the guys recommended some spicy olive oil to pour over the pizza. Never did this before and I loved it! Returned again tonight for some pasta. The guys all recognized me and they me sat inside so I could charge my phone. After a long day of getting lost all over Rome and finding the most amazing places at the most unexpected times this is a perfect way to end the day. Tonight I'm having Bruschetta with tomato and home made pasta with Salmon and cream. It is delicious.

I traveled to Venise, Florence, Naples and Rome, and it was one of my best experiences! Gian Luca and Mauricio were always making sure it was to our liking and it was the best service ever. The food was right on time and extremely delicious!! We didn't feel any rush and they took the time to exchange with us. Prices are on the average for that quality of food. We even had a treat "on the house" which was like heaven on the palate! I highly recommend this restaurant, and will go again during my trip. Give it a try, you will thank me! Ciao!

Really delicious food, excellent service, very reasonable price. Sausage and mushroom risotto and baked paccheri with ricotta were excellent. Fettucine with minced beef in white sauce is good but not I was not impressed. Shout out to Jon Lucas for making us feel so welcome. Other staffs such as Scade was also good. The restaurant is beautiful and spacious. Having been in Rome and Venice for a week and tried various restaurants, this is one of the two best restaurants that we have visited. Highly recommend you to check it out.

Absolutely fantastic! We came to this restaurant on our visit to Rome 20 years ago and ended up dining every night. We booked a table for our return with our family of 3 almost adult children now. What a reception!!! We were greeted like old friends by the owner who had not changed since our last visit and we were seated immediately and given free celebratory sparkling wine. The service was as perfect as ever and... just as they did ago that time ago, they listened carefully to our orders and then made some suggestions. When the food arrived...WOW! A table filling starter for royalty. Delicious cheeses and meats, tomatoes, bruscetta, sauces and breads that were our of this world! Then the main courses arrived. Fresh made pasta, incredible sauces, fantastic pizza for one of my brood. The food was delicious and filling.

My only sadness was that we were unable to make it for the following evening.

This place sums up everything I love about Italy... the delicious food, the warmth and the Romance ❤️❤️. Best. Restaurant. In. Rome.

Thank you...

I’ve traveled a world and Italy also, but this is far the worst italian restaurant ever, they should close business and sell newspapers instead, since that kind of a business is “fire and forget” and you don’t care about your customers. First of all, service was terrible, they are picky with customers, if you have ordered a draft beer, waiters are going to consult with owner/manager if they suppose to serve you with a kind of cheaper option, when they are instructed not to, they offer you more expensive option. Knowledge of English language is limited to a level of “I don’t care” about your comments, we were forced to left full plates of completely flavorless food, payed the check, BTW, prices are high even for Rome, and went for dinner with restaurant called: Bisto’ all 133, 50m away, across the street, where the service is excellent and food delicious, cooked with passion as the Italians do usually, complements to the staff and owners. Therefore, we are going to propose for as many people as possible to avoid Ristorante RomAntica, as mush...
