1)The restaurant seems to be showing discriminatory behaviour towards Indian people 2) The service was really bad , no basic ettiequettes . 3) The basic services and protocols were not followed . 4) The way the waiter was taking the order was itself very reluctant and had no intent of dedicating time to us 5) The candle kept on the table was not lit on our table while it was done for all other non Indian people sitting around . 6) Service was pathetic with no complimentary papdam ,pickle or onions with chilli which is very basic in every Indian restaurant in Italy , have already tried atleast 10 other restaurants like crown indian ,spice indians , royal indian group and Gandhi 2 india etc .in Venice Florence Tuscany and many other places Haven't found anyone behaving disgustingly discriminatory. 11) The statue of lord Krishna was kept just below the bottles of alcohols which is so offensive for any Indian ,disrespecting our deity in every possible way. 12) In the end there was no saunf provided also one of the fundamental cultural modus operandi and upon asking the waiter was arguing a lot was not at all apologetic about anything .while he was dedicating time to all other customers he was paying iota of time serving us at our table, was terribly slow and intentional in his behaviour towards us in doing so 13) His statement was that we should have asked about complimentary things , was stupidly non sense as none of the Indian restaurant ever behaved .like this . 14) Not even a glass of water was offered without asking while it was done for other customers 15) We were provided with forks and knife to eat traditional Indian food and chapatti, no spoons nothing .who does that ? Expect us to eat with the forks and knife ?? 16) Extra plates were provided in the beginning,we did no lt used the plates ,and he removed the plates in the middle of our meal without even asking , showing utmost disrespect and non chalant attitude towards us , no courtesy to even ask for the same . 17) Such restaurants are a black spot in the name of India where atithi devo bhav is culture since time immemorial. 18) No body should ever go to have meal at such discriminatory place and such restaurants should be banned for this kind...
Read moreWe actually wanted to go to zoya which is across the street and as per google timings- it was supposed to be open till 11.30 (we reached at 9.45 pm). But it was closed and the owner said he owns krishna which is across the street and we can eat there. As soon as we reached across the street the manager ‘Micky’ told us we had to order quickly and seated us (though they attended non-Indians even when we were leaving around 11 which is pure racism). So while we were looking at the menu and decided - another waiter came to take our order. We asked this waiter whether we could change our seats- he gave us another option that we liked better so we moved. Then Micky came and said to me very rudely that ‘This is not India that you can sit anywhere - this table is reserved for someone else’. So i simply said we asked that waiter whether we could change and he gave us this option. He said ‘but you didnt ask me’. I told Micky fine we can move and also if he would have asked me with respect and said this is reserved I would I have moved. Whats the need to say ‘this is not India’. Also, I told him this is not the way to come and talk to your customer. So I would advice everyone that - do not visit this place because the staff is racist! The food was pathetic and tasteless. We complained to the owner - whom we met at zoya about this behaviour and he apologised profusely, but there are other similar reviews of racism so I feel that they are not taking any action on this. We visited another Indian place called ‘Gandhi 2’ and the food was awesome, the staff were amazing and treated everyone with respect- be it any nationality! Please do visit Gandhi 2 and...
Read moreIf you are Indian and have some self respect, I advise you not to even enter the place. You will only be respected if you are NOT brown skinned. Here is what happened to us. We walked in for dinner and asked for a table for 2. The waiter asked us to wait for 10 minutes. After about 5 minutes a non Indian couple walked in and were offered a table immediately. I thought they must have had a reservation so let it go. A couple that was seated in front us saw us waiting and were kind enough to finish up their dinner fast so we could have have our seat. I was happy and thanked them for being mindful. Just about when they left and the table was cleaned up another non indian couple walks in and was offered that table. This was after us waiting for about 25 minutes. When I approached the waiter he said they also had a reservation as well. Absolutely no apologies no courtesy from the waiter. He was just absolutely rude when I told him I am leaving. His attitude was almost more like you need me more than I need you. Being in the hospitality business I don't think this kind of an attitude would carry these people far. I put in a good for food even though I...
