Alice Pizza Quattro Venti — Restaurant in Rome

I am staying a few doors down from here and had walked past a couple of here a couple of times. This evening I decided to pass through on my way home to try it. The woman serving could not have seemed more displeased to serve me. Huffing and puffing as she cut my pizza as if I had offended her? It’s fairly disappointing as I’m here for the next few days so felt this could have been a spot to get some grub close to home but apparently not. The staff member with her was trying to be accommodating he asked where I was from of which I replied “London” which seemed to annoy her more! Her mood dominated the room and he made a swift exit. I tried to be as polite as could be speaking Italian? However have never had such inhospitable service since staying here in Rome. If I could give 0 stars I would. The other day when I went to have a little piece of pizza, the waitress didn't want to take my order because she said they were closed even though they weren't (It was 40 minutes before they close). Pizza da asporto molto buona, con diversa varietà e condita per deliziare i palati più esigenti. Sono disponibili anche alcune sedie/sgabelli per mangiare la pizza direttamente nel locale oppure è possibile portarla via nei classici box in cartone o mangiarla al volo mentre si cammina. Molto buoni gli arancini che vengono cotti al momento della richiesta. Disponibili anche diverse bevande con prezzi variabili da 1 euro per la bottiglietta da 0,5 litri di acqua a 1,5 euro per le lattine di cola a 2,5 euro circa per le birre. I prezzi delle pizze sono CARI!!! Una teglia intera costa in media sulle 22 euro, quindi per un pezzo di pizza da mangiare al volo mentre si cammina si arriva a spendere sui 3/3,5 euro... che confrontato con altre pizzerie al taglio, è un prezzo alto. Il parcheggio in zona è difficile da trovare, quasi impossibile. L'accesso al locale per i diversamente abili è non proprio semplice perché c'è da superare un piccolo...
