Arigatò Sushi Japanese & Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Rome

We don't recommend this restaurant to anyone unless they improve themselves in the over-all service. It's dirty and a mess in the basement area for toilets. There are some young personel/waiters who need better instructions to create a safe and clean environment in and around the restaurant. We sat inside but still smelt the smoking from outside, and it got colder inside though there was a "fire-tower"like something to keep warm inside. The restaurant must do something about this to create a cozy and welcoming atmosphere for the guests/customers. We got sick after the meal because of some dishes (like old stuffs from days before), did not know which ones. So…FYI, restaurant ! Some dishes came at table as larger size portions than in the pictures, which are scary for us. We ordered 2 pieces of Salmonfilet as in the menu pics, but got 4, too much. Some of the glasses given to us were still dirty inside. But thank God, one of the waiter changed them at...

This place is quite honestly not good.

First of all the all you can eat menu limits your orders by 12 pieces per table, every 12 minutes, this means that if your table wants to eat 30 pieces (which get downed in no time) you would have to necessarily wait more than 30 minutes.

I would understand this business practice if the sushi was actually good, but it wasn’t.

The rice would crumble, the fish tasted like it was frozen for conservation and unfrozen before serving it and the wasabi was awful. I could write a whole paragraph on how bad the wasabi was, it didn’t matter how much you eat of it, it still wouldn’t sting at all, when asked if there was any hot wasabi the waiter looked at me as if I just asked if I could set fire to the restaurant.

The food was awful and the service bad and slow.

The only positive that I can think about is the atmosphere in the restaurant, but if you want to spend 20-30 on sushi, don’t...

I rarely do reviews but this one does deserve it. Probably one of the worst food experience . The place had good review so we decided to try....looks good from the outside but..... We ordered about 10 dishes in 4 people. Some looked average...some where just gross...We eat a lot of oriental food so we know when something is wrong. Most food served on plastic dish...out of microwave.

The service was very bad. Despite the fancy tablet order system they got our order wrong twice and had to wait a long time for some plates. ...they clearly use untrained staff...mostly immigrants ...that has no clue what they do. I had the unpleasant need to use their facility...which were as bad as those u find on a train station. That reflect the cleanliness of this place I guess. The bit I could see of the kitchen doesn't suggest any level of hygiene either..... For a bill of about 100 euro u would expect at least decent food. ..not...
