This club represents everything wrong with Rome's nightlife. Pretentious, outdated concepts, strange rules such as guys with fashionable haircuts having to wear caps while inside, a non sensical door policy with long wait times despite "VIP" reservations all leading to a very mediocre clubbing experience. Once inside we had to switch VIP sections twice. Each section is color coded by the color bracelet you wear. Members of our party weren't able to enter our new VIP section despite being asked to move by the club. Completely disorganized. As difficult as it is to get in, you'd expect the party of a lifetime but it's filled with affluent Romans just standing around like zombies staring and judging each other. Read moreIf you want to get judged and treated without any respect because of your appearance - this is the place for you. You will be expected to wear high heels and a skirt so tiny that everyone can see your underwear. The staff at the entrance were totally unprofessional and had no manners whatsoever. This place really needs to change and improve before i would even consider going back. I wish that I had taken the time to read the bad reviews online before i made the effort to visit the Art Cafe.
I really hope that the manager will read these negative reviews and seriously consider making some changes to the staff, as the place has a great location...
Read moreSpecially the waitress was rude and unpolite, and still was capable of suggesting we left a tip after the awful waitering. Told me the card machine wasn’t working and I had to pay with cash. Even told me there was an ATM downstairs, in case I didn’t have money in specie. I realized she was trying to make me comply to leave a tip. Once I told I would wait the machine to return to normal, to pay using the card, the card machine instantly started working.
Can’t recommend the service from her, but the other waiters were good and the food as well.
